The 2025 Forum on the Development of Large scale Backbone Enterprises in the Machinery Industry and the Integration and Innovation Conference of the Machinery and Steel Industry Chain were held in Shanghai. As a core link in promoting high-quality development of regional industries, the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association was invited to send representatives to attend the conference, witnessing the authoritative guidance and cutting-edge trends of the national machinery and steel industry development. Based on the advantages of Shandong's industries, it has built an important bridge for Shandong enterprises to connect with national strategies and deepen cross regional cooperation.
In his speech, Luo Junjie, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, emphasized the role of the machinery industry as the "ballast stone" of the industrial economy, achieving leapfrog development in terms of industrial scale, innovation capability, and international competitiveness. Currently, it is more necessary to deepen collaboration with the steel industry and solve the "bottleneck" problem through the integration of the industrial chain. In his speech, Jiang Wei, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, focused on the core tasks of reducing development and high-quality transformation in the steel industry during the 15th Five Year Plan period. He proposed that the steel industry should be guided by downstream demand, strengthen the supply of high-end materials, and work together with the machinery industry to build a more resilient industrial chain ecology to jointly resist market risks.
Luo Junjie and He Hailin, Deputy Director of the Operations Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly released the "Blue Book on the Development of Large scale Key Backbone Enterprises in the Machinery Industry (2025)". As an annual authoritative report on industry development, the Blue Book systematically summarizes the development status, innovative achievements, and transformation paths of large backbone enterprises in the machinery industry, with detailed data and profound analysis. Li Xiaojia, Deputy Director of the Statistics and Information Work Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation, provided a deep interpretation, breaking down key data from dimensions such as industry scale, innovation investment, and industry chain collaboration, providing scientific basis for enterprise strategic decision-making.
He Hailin delivered a keynote speech, deeply interpreting the operation and outlook of the industrial economy, and combining macroeconomic trends and industrial policy guidance to analyze the opportunities and challenges of current industrial economic development, providing key references for the machinery and steel industries to grasp policy dividends and optimize development strategies.
Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, focused on the analysis of the operating situation and trend of the automobile industry, and elaborated on the changes in demand for high-end mechanical equipment and special steel in the automobile industry around core growth points such as new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles, providing clear coordinates for the precise matching of the two industries in the market.
Luo Junjie delivered a keynote speech titled "Operation of the Machinery Industry in 2025 and Prospects for the Trend in 2026", introduced the important position of the machinery industry as a fundamental and strategic industry of the national economy and its development achievements during the 14th Five Year Plan period, analyzed the overall trend of stable growth in added value of the machinery industry in 2025, and continued slowdown in the growth of fixed assets investment, and pointed out the prospects of the future development of the machinery industry in the direction of stable growth, optimized structure, and new momentum.
