Code of Professional Ethics for the Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association of Shandong Province
Article 1 In order to strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization, regulate industry behavior, enhance industry self-discipline, improve the professional ethics of employees in the equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong Province, and better fulfill the historical mission of serving society in the equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong Province, this standard is formulated in accordance with the central "Implementation Outline for the Construction of Citizen Moral Norms" and the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association Charter (Trial).
Article 2 This specification is applicable to practitioners in the equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong Province.
Article 3 Professional ethics have emerged with the division of labor and the emergence of professions in society. The various professional labor that people engage in is the practical foundation for the formation and development of various professional ethics. The so-called professional ethics refers to the moral norms that people engaged in a certain profession should follow in their professional life, as well as the corresponding moral concepts, moral sentiments, and qualities. It is a socialized role morality linked to the responsibilities, rights, and interests of professional roles.
Article 4 Love and be dedicated to one's job. Being dedicated to one's job is a universal requirement for people's work attitude. Citizens working in any department or position should love and be dedicated to their job. In this sense, being dedicated to one's job is the most common and important requirement of social morality.
Practitioners in the equipment manufacturing industry should fully recognize the social value of their profession and the importance of the equipment manufacturing industry in the national economy and people's livelihood. To love the equipment manufacturing industry, establish oneself in one's position, respect one's profession, and be dedicated to one's work. We should take the spirit of collectivism as the principle, establish a high sense of professionalism and responsibility, and consciously maintain the reputation of our industry.
Article 5 Honesty and trustworthiness. We must adhere to the principle of fair trade, honor contracts, maintain credibility, firmly establish the concept of putting customers first, treat customers sincerely, provide high-quality products and efficient services wholeheartedly, eliminate all kinds of false and fraudulent behaviors, and never harm the interests of customers. Practitioners should speak the truth, do practical things, not cheat, keep promises, be consistent in words and deeds, and abide by laws and regulations.
Article 6 Service first. In professional activities, we should firmly establish the awareness of serving the people wholeheartedly. Serving the people is the soul of a profession, and the satisfaction of the vast number of users should be given top priority. Be enthusiastic, patient, humble, and sincere in the service process, and continuously improve service quality from the perspective of user interests.
Article 7 Pay attention to environmental protection. To establish the production, operation, and management concepts of energy conservation, environmental protection, and circular economy. Actively implement relevant technical standards, accelerate the transformation of economic growth mode, promote resource conservation and civilized production, and strive to create a sustainable industry atmosphere.
Article 8 Unity and cooperation. Enterprises and practitioners should strengthen their connections, exchange information and experience, expand cooperation, jointly maintain and leverage the overall advantages of the industry, and form a culture of unity, cooperation, and common progress while respecting intellectual property rights.
Article 9 Putting people first. We should fully tap into and protect the enthusiasm of the vast number of practitioners, encourage their technological innovation, and put forward various rational suggestions. We attach great importance to the cultivation of various talents, actively carry out technical training and employee education, continuously improve the overall quality and professional ethics of practitioners, and provide a broad stage for realizing their life values.
Article 10 Dedicate to society. Vigorously promote the spirit of dedication and consciously fulfill social responsibilities. Actively participate in social welfare undertakings, pursue endless career goals and provide sincere and good humanistic care, and serve a harmonious society.
