The head of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that China has made a series of new progress and achievements in promoting new industrialization.

The latest statistics show that currently, China ranks first in the world in terms of production of over 220 out of 500 major industrial products. Artificial intelligence is deeply empowering new industrialization and cultivating 421 national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories. We have established 30 national level manufacturing innovation centers, covering fields such as power batteries, humanoid robots, and high-performance medical devices. Accumulatively cultivating over 140000 specialized, refined, unique and new small and medium-sized enterprises, and 12000 specialized, refined, unique and new "little giant" enterprises. In addition, China has built a total of 3.837 million 5G base stations, accounting for over 60% of the global total.

Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong: We will also make greater efforts to optimize the development environment of manufacturing enterprises. Adhere to the dual development of new and old industries, transform and upgrade traditional industries, consolidate and enhance advantageous industries, cultivate and strengthen emerging industries, and plan ahead for future industries.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the next step will be to achieve stable growth and cultivate new growth drivers in ten key industries, including steel, non-ferrous metals, and petrochemicals.
