Promoting enterprise innovation and transformation through digital transformation, the 2022 National Conference on Digital Transformation of Small and Medium sized Enterprises was held in Jinan
On November 9-10, the 2022 National Conference on Digital Transformation of Small and Medium sized Enterprises, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Shandong Province, with the theme of "Innovation Leading Development, Digital Lighting for the Future", was held in Jinan.
Li Ganjie, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, stated in his speech at the conference that Shandong will strive to strengthen industrial software, break through intelligent hardware, optimize digital facilities, strengthen platform empowerment, and ensure digital security, demonstrating Shandong's role in comprehensively promoting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises; Jin Zhuanglong, minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, said in his video address that China will consolidate digital infrastructure, accelerate the construction of new infrastructure such as 5G, industrial Internet, big data center, provide high-quality and efficient network services for SMEs, guide industrial Internet platform enterprises to strengthen cooperation with SMEs, and drive the digital transformation of SMEs.
Small and medium-sized enterprises are an important component of the national economy, and digitization is the only way for them to transform and develop. At present, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in China has reached 48 million. With the help of digital transformation, a total of 8997 specialized, refined, unique and new "little giant" enterprises and more than 60000 specialized, refined, unique and new small and medium-sized enterprises have been cultivated. Small and medium-sized enterprises have strong support for stabilizing and supplementing the supply chain, highlighting their position as the main employment channel, and continuously improving their service support system. Among them, there are nearly 4.8 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Shandong Province, accounting for about 10% of the country's total. Currently, 5777 provincial-level "specialized, refined, special and new" small and medium-sized enterprises, 756 national level specialized, refined, special and new "little giant" enterprises, and 145 manufacturing industry single champion enterprises have been cultivated. The digital transformation rate of specialized, refined, special and new small and medium-sized enterprises exceeds 60%, the index of industrial enterprise integration and development reaches 116, and the comprehensive digitalization rate of key business processes reaches 67.8%, ranking among the top in the country in terms of quantity and indicators.
It is reported that the conference is committed to building a high-level communication and cooperation platform for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy, leading the innovation and transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises with digital transformation, accelerating the convergence of innovation resources to small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing their core competitiveness, and promoting the high-quality and healthy development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Evaluation Indicators for the Digitalization Level of SMEs (2022 Edition) and the Guidelines for the Digitalization Transformation of SMEs were released, and the "Ten Cities and One Thousand Enterprises" SME Digitalization Service Bank activity, the Internet based resources enabling millions of SMEs to digitize, the Shandong Branch of the Industrial Internet Platform Innovation Cooperation Center, and the Shandong Industrial Internet Digitalization Transformation Promotion Center were launched. The conference also held 8 forums, including the exploration of digital transformation models for small and medium-sized enterprises, the integration of industry and finance to steadily promote transformation, and the paving of a specialized, refined, and innovative path for digital transformation.
