On the morning of November 9th, the 2022 National Conference on Digital Transformation of Small and Medium sized Enterprises, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Provincial Government, opened at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Jin Zhuanglong, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated in a video speech that small and medium-sized enterprises are an important force in promoting innovation, employment, and improving people's livelihoods. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, significant achievements have been made in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in China. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, support small and medium-sized enterprises to develop towards digitalization, networking, and intelligence, improve the policy and regulatory system, consolidate digital infrastructure, improve the quality service system, and promote the development of "specialized, refined, unique, and new" enterprises. I hope everyone can brainstorm, enhance consensus, actively explore, and jointly promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises and promote high-quality development around the theme of the conference.

At the opening ceremony, the Evaluation Indicators for the Digital Level of SMEs (2022 Edition) and the Guidelines for the Digital Transformation of SMEs were released, which inaugurated the Shandong Branch of the Industrial Internet Platform Innovation Cooperation Center and the Industrial Internet Digital Transformation Promotion Center (SME Services), and launched the "Ten Cities and One Thousand Enterprises" SME digital service bank activity, and the Internet basic resources empowering millions of SMEs digital action. The attending leaders and guests jointly visited the National Exhibition of Digital Transformation and Innovation Achievements for Small and Medium sized Enterprises.
The theme of this conference is "Innovation leads development, digital lights up the future". In addition to the opening ceremony, there will be a main forum and 8 sub forums and other activities.
On the afternoon of the 8th, Zhou Naixiang met with some guests attending the conference at Shandong Building.
