Vice Premier of the State Council Liu He attends the National "Specialized, Refined, Unique and New" SME Summit Forum

　  On July 27th, the National "Specialized, Refined, Unique and New" SME Summit Forum was held in Changsha, Hunan. Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended and delivered a speech via video conference.

　　Liu He pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to small and medium-sized enterprises and has issued a series of important instructions and directives on their development, emphasizing that "small and medium-sized enterprises can accomplish great things". In the past year, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee, China's small and medium-sized enterprises have bravely taken the lead, dared to innovate, overcome various impacts, achieved gratifying results, and achieved rapid and healthy development.

　　Liu He said that only with good small and medium-sized enterprises can the Chinese economy thrive. Vibrant small and medium-sized enterprises, diverse and differentiated economic ecology, are the most important guarantees for China's economic resilience. The soul of 'specialization, refinement, novelty' is innovation. Currently, technological innovation is not only a development issue but also a survival issue. Entrepreneurs should take "specialization, refinement, novelty" as the direction, focus on their main business, practice hard, strengthen innovation, and build their enterprises into "singles champions" or "supporting experts" who master unique skills.

　　Liu He emphasized that it is necessary to firmly implement the "two unwavering" principles, firmly protect property rights and intellectual property rights, adhere to the direction of marketization, rule of law, and internationalization, create a good business environment, and strive to cultivate and support "specialized, refined, unique, and new" enterprises. The capital market will create favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
