The quality pass rate of "Made in Shandong" last year was 96.10%

The Provincial Market Supervision Bureau recently completed a statistical survey on the quality qualification rate of manufacturing products in Shandong Province in 2018. The scope of this survey covers 93 industry subcategories in 26 manufacturing categories within the province, involving 6972 batches of products from 4864 enterprises. According to the calculation method of manufacturing product quality qualification rate, after scientific calculation, the quality qualification rate of manufacturing products in the province in 2018 was 96.10%. Overall, the quality of manufacturing products in our province is in a stable and good state.

It is understood that the qualification rate of 96.10% has decreased by 0.77 percentage points compared to 2017. The main reason is that among the 10 industries with high main business income, the product quality qualification rate of 7 industries has shown varying degrees of decline compared to 2017, resulting in a slight decrease in the product quality qualification rate of the manufacturing industry in the province in 2018 compared to 2017, which is a normal fluctuation.

By industry, the product quality qualification rate of key pillar industries remains above 95%. Among the 26 major industries, the tobacco products industry and the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, and other transportation equipment manufacturing industries have a product quality qualification rate of 100%; The product quality qualification rates of 14 industries, including chemical raw material and chemical product manufacturing, agricultural and sideline food processing, petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing, textile industry, and general equipment manufacturing, have remained stable at over 95%; The product quality qualification rate of seven industries, including electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, textile and clothing industry, and instrument manufacturing industry, is between 90% and 95%; The product quality qualification rate of leather, fur, feathers and their products, footwear industry, cultural and educational, industrial and aesthetic, sports and entertainment equipment manufacturing industry, and other manufacturing industries is less than 90%.

From a regional perspective, the quality qualification rate of manufacturing products in each city has remained stable at a relatively high level. The product quality qualification rate of 12 cities including Jinan, Qingdao, Zaozhuang, Dongying, and Yantai is higher than the overall level of the province (96.10%), and the lowest product quality qualification rate in the region is 94.13%.
