Chen Jian, Vice Chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Political Consultative Conference, believes that 5G, as the core driving force of the new generation of communication technology, will continuously give birth to new technologies, product industries, and business models, thereby triggering significant restructuring of digital resources and major changes in economic structure. In addition,5GThe vigorous development of technology is of great significance for building a new generation of information infrastructure networks, accelerating the application and promotion of emerging technologies such as big data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. “当前，中国联通已在多媒体、新媒体、工业互联网、智慧交通、智慧医疗、智慧教育等领域进行了行之有效的5G场景应用初步探索与实践，以期更好助力城市建设。”中国联通集团副总经理梁宝俊说，万物互联以5G牵引互联网、大数据、物联网、人工智能与各行各业深度融合，不仅是移动通信的一次升级换代，更是影响和推动社会进步的新技术、新变革，对支撑数字经济高质量发展及城市治理现代化意义重大。

贵阳作为中国联通全国首批5G试点城市，一系列5G网络建设的技术应用成为贵州引领科技创新、实现产业升级、促进经济繁荣、实现供给侧结构性改革的重要抓手。贵州发展大数据产业，已经在信息基础设施建设、规划建设等方面实现了深度融合，打造出中国数谷、云上贵州等大批地方特色品牌，形成一批可复制、可推广的发展经验，促进经济社会发展智能化水平不断提升。

智能化的应用，在贵阳已涵盖多个领域，无人机、无人驾驶、智慧园区、智慧医疗等12个领域的5G应用场景，正在如火如荼地进行，车联网就是一个典型的案例。车联网利用5G的边缘计算和车端、路端的感测信息，可以形成一个信息完整的视图，进而保证车辆安全运行，使汽车更智能。

“提及‘车联网’，很多人想到的是无人驾驶，其实，5G技术在汽车上的应用远不止此。”中国汽车工程研究院总经理万鑫铭认为，5G技术还可以将城市道路车端、路侧及车辆行驶环境等各方面的原始数据精准收集起来，通过网络实时传输，利用5G的超低延时和高可控，远程自动驾驶将成为现实。

北京邮电大学教授吕廷杰分析，5G产业链未来渗透到生活的各个方面是大趋势，它的平台、技术、网络、所有的层面都会产生一场革命。5G的循序渐进发展，将会带来一个完全不同的社会，它会使社会的效率更高，通过无限连接产生高价值的关键数据，给大数据产业带来全新的飞跃。不管是技术领先，还是商业模式优先，都将重构数字经济的生态，提升国家综合竞争力。

“5G改变生活，未来基于5G网络语音化的VR、自动驾驶、远程驾驶将会被普及。”中国联通网络技术研究院院长张涌说，中国通信产业从1G的空白到2G的突破、3G的追赶、4G的同步再到5G的全球领先，不仅解决了人跟人的通信，还将连接万物，在全在线、无缝体验、全云化、智慧终端、联接平台化等方面带来革命性变化。
