Recently, the Provincial Bureau of Small and Medium sized Enterprises organized a symposium on the service cultivation of hidden champion enterprises in Shandong Province, inviting more than ten provincial-level industry associations, including the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, to jointly discuss how to do a good job in recommending and cultivating the second batch of hidden champion enterprises. Director Zhang Zhiyong gave a focused interpretation at the meeting on the main differences between hidden champion enterprises and individual champion enterprises that everyone is concerned about. Director Zhang introduced that the evaluation scope of single champion enterprises is mainly focused on the manufacturing industry; Most of them are large enterprises with a certain scale; Ranked among the top in the industry both domestically and internationally; Most of them are terminal product manufacturing enterprises; The company has a high level of visibility. The main evaluation criteria for invisible champion enterprises are: the evaluation scope is not only focused on the manufacturing industry, but also covers a wider range of industries; There is no hard limit on the scale of enterprises; Small and medium-sized enterprises can apply; Industry ranking generally needs to be leading within the province; Enterprises are located in key links and segmented areas of the industrial chain; Emphasize technological support; The company currently has relatively low visibility.
Deputy Director Xie Haitao introduced that the Provincial Small and Medium sized Enterprise Bureau is summarizing the experience of the first batch of hidden champion evaluation and cultivation work, widely listening to the opinions and suggestions of enterprises and industry associations. After modifying and improving the evaluation conditions, the second batch of hidden champion enterprise evaluation work will be organized and carried out in the second half of the year. At the same time, considering the relatively insufficient statistical information of small and medium-sized enterprises, industry associations have a better understanding of the situation of enterprises in this industry. The second batch of recommendation review work will use industry associations as an important channel for initial recommendation review. I hope that all industry associations will carefully recommend and strictly control, and push more unknown "specialized, refined, and special" enterprises that focus on niche fields to the forefront, making the selection of hidden champions a Shandong brand.
