On January 6-7, the Fifth Executive Committee Meeting of the 14th Shandong Federation of Industry and Commerce was grandly held in Zibo. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all previous plenary sessions, conveyed and studied the spirit of the 4th Executive Committee Meeting of the 13th National Federation of Industry and Commerce, fully implemented the deployment requirements of the 10th Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Economic Work Conference, summarized the work achievements in 2025, and deployed key tasks for 2026. Deng Yunfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Suilian, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, gave a work report. Zhang Kun, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, presided over the meeting and made a concluding speech. Li Maonan, head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed in the United Front Work.

Su Hongxing, Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, was invited to attend the conference and gathered with representatives of private economy from all walks of life in the province to discuss the plan for high-quality development of private economy and draw a blueprint for the construction of a modern and strong province.

Deng Yunfeng pointed out that by 2025, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce will focus on the center and serve the overall situation, vigorously implement five major actions: Party building leading, cultivating excellence and strengthening, improving corporate governance, helping enterprises overcome difficulties, and inheriting Confucian business. All work has achieved significant results. In the new year, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce should conscientiously implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, fully play its functional role, assist the Party Committee and government in consolidating consensus, promoting policies, and clarifying doubts, and guide private entrepreneurs to maintain strategic determination and enhance their confidence in development. We should stick to the grand blueprint of the "Tenth Five Year Plan", continue to make efforts in strengthening the ideological and political guidance, serving the high-quality development of enterprises, promoting and optimizing the business environment, constantly improve the quality and efficiency of work, focus on promoting the healthy development of private economy and the healthy growth of private economic people, and strive to make new and greater contributions to writing the chapter of Chinese path to modernization in Shandong.

Wang Suilian comprehensively summarized the work of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce in 2025, emphasizing the need to deeply study and implement the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee on promoting the development and growth of the private economy, deeply grasp policy opportunities, market opportunities, and reform opportunities, and continuously consolidate and expand the momentum of stable and positive development. To anchor the key tasks for 2026, we will focus on boosting development confidence, improving the quality of private enterprise development, assisting enterprises in overcoming difficulties and improving efficiency, enhancing corporate governance, and improving our own construction standards. We will continuously improve the level of service to promote the "two health" work, guide the majority of private economy professionals to strengthen their confidence, make good use of their advantages, and continue to strive, contributing wisdom and strength to promote the high-quality development of the private economy in the province and accelerate the construction of a modern and strong province.

Zhang Kun called for a thorough study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the development of the private economy, guiding private entrepreneurs to consciously use the Party's innovative theories to build their hearts and souls, firmly supporting the "two consolidations" and resolutely achieving the "two safeguards". We must focus on key tasks such as expanding development space, cultivating development momentum, and building a solid foundation for development. We must forge ahead, work hard, and steadfastly pursue the path of high-quality development. Efforts should be made to improve the organizational system, innovate methods and approaches, strengthen work style construction, continuously deepen self reform, and constantly create a new situation for the development of the industry and commerce federation in the province.

During the conference, a conference was held to support the high-quality development of Zibo by outstanding private enterprises in the province. Secretary General Su Hongxing signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zheng Hui, President of Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. The provincial and municipal associations will work together to upgrade and strive to contribute solid industry strength to Zibo's efforts to build an advanced manufacturing strong city and write a new chapter of high-quality development.
