Su Hongxing, Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association, attended the exchange meeting between the trade promotion system of the nine provinces (regions) along the Yellow River and overseas institutions in China
On November 12, 2025, the "2025 Yellow River Nine Provinces (Regions) Trade Promotion System and Overseas Institutions Exchange Conference" hosted by the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade was successfully held at the Kempinski Hotel in Jinan. Su Hongxing, Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, was invited to attend the meeting and had in-depth communication and exchanges with the leaders of the nine provinces (regions) along the Yellow River and the heads of the trade promotion associations in various cities in Shandong Province.
The exchange meeting, with the theme of "Open Cooperation and Shared Opportunities", brought together representatives from over 20 countries and regions including Cambodia, Canada, Thailand, Japan, Israel, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico, as well as nearly 300 guests from trade promotion systems, industry associations, universities, and enterprises in the nine provinces (regions) along the Yellow River. The conference aims to promote practical cooperation between provinces and regions along the Yellow River Basin and overseas institutions in areas such as economy, trade, investment, and industry.
During the meeting, Secretary General Su Hongxing actively participated in the exchange session and had face-to-face communication with the heads of the trade promotion system in the provinces along the Yellow River, such as Mi Bingsheng, Vice President of Shanxi Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wang Li, Vice President of Inner Mongolia Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Liu Bing, Vice President of Henan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade. They exchanged views on topics such as international development of equipment manufacturing industry, industrial chain coordination, and technological cooperation. He also communicated with the heads of 16 trade promotion associations in Shandong Province, including Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, etc., to explore how to use trade promotion platforms to promote Shandong equipment manufacturing enterprises to "go global" and enhance international competitiveness. We need to encourage enterprises to gradually establish a crisis awareness of "being eliminated without going out to sea" and actively move from the blue ocean to the deep sea.
Secretary General Su Hongxing said that this exchange meeting will help strengthen the linkage between Shandong equipment manufacturing industry and provinces along the Yellow River and international institutions, and provide an important platform for the association's member enterprises to expand international cooperation channels and participate in the construction of markets along the "the Belt and Road". The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association will continue to play a bridging role, promote high-quality development of the industry, and help build a new pattern of open economy.
The entire event reached its climax with the wonderful performance of the theme dance "The Yellow River Flows", followed by guest group photos and meal discussions, creating a lively atmosphere and fruitful results.
