On the morning of December 28th, the establishment of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the first session of its member conference were held grandly at the Ni's Haitai Hotel in Jinan. Congratulations balloons are flying in the air in front of Haitai Hotel, and warm words on the large electronic screen welcome representatives from all over the province. Nearly 200 member enterprise chairmen, general managers, and guests from the mechanical industry in the province are gathered here to seek the path of harmonious development of the equipment manufacturing industry under the new normal, and to jointly look forward to the new future development of Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry.
Gao Ling, Director of the Preparatory Committee of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, reported the preparation status of the association to the attendees. Gao Ling said in the report,The association currently has the first batch of member companies160 households,Covering the entire province16 cities. The preparatory committee organized the drafting of membership management measures, membership fee standards, and management usage methods,Assessment and management system for association leaders, etc8 rules and regulations have been drafted, and an industry self-discipline convention has been drafted. The meeting unanimously passed a series of normative documents such as the "Articles of Association of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association" and the "Management Measures for Membership Fees of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association" by a show of hands.
The meeting elected Gao Ling as the first president of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association through anonymous voting. Our industry chamber of commerce president Li Baomin and executive vice president Sun Shanjin have been elected as vice presidents of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. More than ten member enterprises, including Shenli Rigging, Ruixiang Mold, Dongyue Automobile, and Haina Technology, have been selected as council units.

During the conference, Cai Weici, former Executive Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, delivered a speech titled 'Machinery Industry' to the attendeesReport on 2016 Review and 2017 Outlook. Vice President Cai Weici analyzed and interpreted the operating situation of the machinery industry in 2016 with a large amount of detailed data, and provided an outlook for the industrial economy in 2017. He pointed out that the operating situation of the machinery industry since 2014 has shown an overall "L" - shaped trend. In the future (including 2017), it is expected to continue operating in the bottom region for a long period of time until the transformation and upgrading have achieved significant results, and then enter the obvious recovery stage of this round of economic adjustment. The growth rate of the entire machinery industry next year will be lower than this year. At the same time, a profound interpretation was made on the issues related to the "Guiding Opinions on Adjusting the Structure of the Machinery Industry to Promote Transformation and Increase Efficiency" (State Council Document No. 55) and intelligent manufacturing, which were issued this year.
