Carrying out intellectual property training to enhance professional service capabilities - The Communist Party of China Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association held a joint party building activity and intellectual property training conference

Intellectual property is not only a necessity for innovative development, but also a standard for achieving high-quality development, and has become the core competitiveness of enterprises. On April 6th, in order to strengthen the understanding and comprehension of intellectual property, improve the professional ability and service level of the Secretariat staff, the Party branch of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association held a joint party building activity and intellectual property training conference in April. The conference was held in the form of online Tencent Meeting, chaired by Vice Secretary General Wang Qun, and 23 people from the Secretariat and relevant units participated in the training.

The meeting learned from General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on "comprehensively strengthening intellectual property protection, stimulating innovation vitality, and promoting the construction of a new development pattern", and invited senior intellectual property experts and association directors, Qiu Yuliang, General Manager of Rongcheng East China Forging Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and Han Guangchao, General Manager of Jinan Chengzhi Trademark Patent Office Co., Ltd., to provide patent related knowledge training for all party members and staff of the Secretariat.

Han Guangchao interpreted the basic knowledge of patents and the patent application process, and emphasized the two channels of rapid patent examination, namely rapid pre examination and priority examination, as well as the pre examination requirements of intellectual property protection centers in Shandong Province and various regions.

Qiu Yuliang gave a detailed interpretation of the five basic characteristics of high-value invention patents, namely technical value, legal value, market value, strategic value, and economic value, under the theme of "The Origin of Patents and the Writing of High Value Invention Patents". He also provided specific explanations on how high-value invention patents can be strategically planned to enhance the competitiveness and industry influence of enterprises. At the same time, based on the successful experience of applying for 53 invention patents without rejection, a detailed analysis was conducted on the misconceptions in high-value invention patent applications and the tracking, querying, and management of the entire process of invention patent applications.

In recent years, patent application and protection have become important needs for more and more enterprises. Understanding and mastering patent knowledge is of great strategic significance for enhancing the innovation capability and competitiveness of enterprises. Through this systematic training, the foundation has been laid for the association to lead the healthy development of the industry, promote intellectual property to drive industry innovation, and facilitate the deep integration of industry, academia, and research.
