Revisiting the Spirit of the Party Constitution and Adhering to the Original Aspiration of Service

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that "studying the Party Constitution seriously and familiarizing oneself with it is the obligation of Party members." Learning the Party Constitution not only requires studying it in its original form and repeating it repeatedly to understand its essence, but also requires practical learning, in-depth thinking, and understanding of its reasons. Through such learning, we can integrate the Party Constitution and achieve understanding, trust, and application through learning. On October 23, 2023, the Party branch of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association of the Communist Party of China held a Party member meeting according to the Party building work plan of the branch at the beginning of the year to review the spirit of the Party Constitution. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Su Hongxing, the secretary of the Party branch, and attended by all Party members and Secretariat staff.

Su Hongxing led everyone to relearn the relevant content of the Party Constitution. On the one hand, it strengthened the conscious learning awareness of Party members, and on the other hand, it gave full play to the guiding function of Party organizations, strengthened the propaganda and education of the Party Constitution. At the same time, it studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important article "Accelerating the Construction of Data Infrastructure System, Strengthening and Improving Administrative Division Work".

The article believes that the construction of data infrastructure system is related to the overall development and security of the country. It is necessary to maintain national data security, protect personal information and trade secrets, promote efficient circulation and use of data, and accelerate the construction of data infrastructure system. We need to strengthen the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee over the work of administrative division, and do a good job in overall planning. We should follow the laws of technological innovation and talent growth, and establish a technology talent evaluation system guided by innovation value, ability, and contribution.

Su Hongxing pointed out in his concluding speech that data, as a new type of production factor in the 21st century, has changed the production mode of various industries, the lifestyle of the people, and the way of social governance. China has a huge scale of data and potential for data application, and data trading may trigger a wave of enthusiasm. The work of the association should follow the trend of the times, seize opportunities, and actively take action. All party members and staff should always bear in mind the requirements of the Party Constitution, adhere to the original intention of service, actively provide services to member enterprises using data information, guide the healthy development of enterprises, and lead the scientific development of the equipment manufacturing industry in our province.
