Top 10 New Trends in Intelligent Manufacturing
The world's first "visual navigation" logistics robot that can charge for ten minutes and work for two hours, the leading home appliance base in China in terms of shipment volume, and the world's first highest generation line, the BOE 10.5 generation line... During our visits to some first tier manufacturing cities in China, such as Ningbo, Quanzhou, and Hefei, we clearly felt that the industry is undergoing rapid changes: industrial creativity is improving, policy guidance is more focused, and new and old driving forces are shifting.
The innovation vitality of the manufacturing industry is evident
In Ningbo, the first pilot demonstration city of "Made in China 2025" in China, the government has formulated 22 targeted support policies and measures for this purpose. From 2016 to 2018, the proportion of the added value of strategic emerging industries, high-tech industries, and equipment manufacturing industries to the total added value of the city's above designated industries increased by 9.3, 9.0, and 1.2 percentage points, respectively. The proportion of the added value of above designated industries to GDP increased from 44.1% to 46.1%.
Traditional industries are improving quality and efficiency, and the pace of transformation between new and old driving forces is accelerating.
In cities such as Quanzhou and Ningbo, both the traditional petrochemical industry and the textile and clothing industry have undergone significant changes. After the intelligent transformation of Quanzhou Huabao Footwear Company, employment has been reduced by more than 70% and production capacity has been increased by 1.25 times; Jiangsu Shengli Precision Company has completed the intelligent transformation of more than 20 production lines in the past three years, increasing efficiency and output by over 30%. Intelligence and digitization have rapidly empowered traditional industries.
New formats and models are rapidly emerging in many cities. The industrial Internet platform represented by Haier COSMO, Roots Interconnect and Aerospace Cloud Network has developed rapidly, and new driving forces such as industrial robots, unmanned aerial vehicles, information intelligent hardware and intelligent connected vehicles have developed rapidly. At the "Robot Intelligent Factory" in Xinsong, the production efficiency of enterprises has increased by 200%. This factory model can be replicated in just three months, effectively improving the production capacity of domestic high-end robots.
A group of small and medium-sized enterprises that have long focused on the production of key components and the research and development of basic materials have gradually grown into the industry's "specialized, refined, and distinctive" champion enterprises.
Ningbo Deying Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. provides spinning shuttles for over 90% of sewing machine manufacturers worldwide, accounting for 40% of global production. There are 36 enterprises in Ningbo that have the world's largest market share for their leading products, and 149 enterprises that have the country's largest market share for their leading products.
Policy guidance focuses more on strengthening the foundation and addressing weaknesses
