The first stop of "Setting Sail to the Sea" in 2025: Vice President Wei Chenghui leads a delegation to participate in the Indonesia Coal Expo

From May 15th to 17th, 2025, the "2025 Indonesia International Coal and Energy Industry Expo and Coal Clean Utilization and Green Mining Conference" supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources was held at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center. Wei Chenghui, Vice President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and President of Mining Electromechanical Branch, led a delegation of Shandong enterprises composed of Shandong Jinkexing Electromechanical Co., Ltd., Shandong Xintong Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shandong Tianhe Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Yanmei Black Panther Mining Equipment Co., Ltd., Shandong Zhongdao Fire Equipment Co., Ltd., and Shandong Yufei Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. to Indonesia to participate in exhibitions and related forums, and visited the Shandong General Chamber of Commerce and Batang Wanxinda Industrial Park in Indonesia. They launched the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association's 2025 "Sail to the Sea" action, demonstrating the innovative strength of Shandong enterprises in the field of energy equipment and injecting new impetus into deepening energy cooperation between China and Indonesia.

As the annual event of the coal and energy industry in Southeast Asia, this expo, with the theme of "New Development, Cooperation, and Future of Energy", has attracted enterprises and experts in the global energy field. Shandong has significant technological advantages in multiple manufacturing industries such as coal mining equipment and intelligent manufacturing. The accompanying enterprises have brought cutting-edge technologies in their respective fields, demonstrating the overall strength and innovation capability of Shandong's manufacturing industry.

Wei Cheng led the delegation to negotiate with local coal companies in Indonesia, Southeast Asian mining service providers, and international energy professionals. Through product demonstrations, technical explanations, and industry forum exchanges, preliminary cooperation intentions have been reached with multiple parties, further enhancing the international influence of Shandong Mining Electromechanical brand.

The delegation also visited Wanxinda Industrial Park in Batang, a special economic zone in Indonesia, which is an important part of the construction of "two countries, two parks" between China and Indonesia under the initiative of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "the Belt and Road" initiative. It was called "Indonesia's version of Shenzhen" by Indonesian President Prabovo, and a Sino Indonesia economic and trade innovation and development demonstration park jointly built by Indonesia's "two countries, two parks".

On May 14th, Wei Cheng led a delegation from Shandong to visit the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as industrial synergy and market expansion, discussed cooperation opportunities, and built a resource bridge.

Yue Jianbo, President of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, gave a detailed introduction to the role of the Chamber of Commerce as a bridge in promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia, emphasizing the need to promote deep integration of enterprises from both regions in the mining equipment, power engineering and other industrial chains; Wei Chenghui introduced the basic situation of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the advantages of accompanying enterprise members in multiple manufacturing fields such as coal mine equipment, intelligent manufacturing, cables, hardware materials, mining engineering, etc. He hopes to expand international business through the Indonesian market and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

This trip to Indonesia is an important measure of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association's "going global" initiative, highlighting the international strategic vision of the Mining Machinery and Electrical Branch, successfully opening up cooperation channels with the Southeast Asian market, and accumulating valuable experience for future layout in Southeast Asia.
