Abundant achievements and fruitful returns - Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association's "Qingdao Benchmark Enterprise Matchmaking and Exchange Activity" has facilitated 33 industrial cooperation achievements
Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Network, Qingdao, April 18th The "Qingdao Benchmark Enterprise Matchmaking and Exchange Activity" jointly organized by Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, Qingdao West Coast New Area Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Yanyuan Business Education Research Institute has come to a successful conclusion. The visiting team, consisting of more than 60 core member unit enterprise leaders from the provincial association, conducted in-depth on-site visits to four benchmark units in Qingdao and achieved fruitful cooperation results, exploring a new development path of "innovation chain industry chain collaboration chain" three chain integration.
Entering the Qingdao West Coast Planning Exhibition Hall - Window of the City, the exhibition hall dynamically showcases the evolution of urban spatial patterns through naked eye 3D, holographic projection technology, and immersive experiences. Entrepreneurs can experience firsthand the "rising blue power" and the national strategy of "thriving towards the sea".
At the unicorn company Qingdao Zhonggate Electric Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Zhonggate"), the visiting delegation witnessed technological breakthroughs such as variable frequency speed control integrated machines that fill international gaps. Song Chenglin, the Chief Engineer of the company, explained to everyone the "Zhonggat Model" of innovation driven and industrial synergy. He visited entrepreneurs and had in-depth exchanges with Song Gong to explore the innovation password of Zhonggat from technological breakthroughs to market leadership.
At Harbin Engineering University Qingdao Science and Technology Park (referred to as "Harbin Engineering"), its collaborative innovation model has become the focus. The "Basic Research Application Development Industry Incubation" technology innovation consortium model constructed in the park has formed a complete closed loop from basic research to engineering application, and has successfully transformed into multiple internationally leading scientific and technological achievements in fields such as ship power and ocean information. The park integrates red genes into technological innovation, and through characteristic party building carriers, forms a cluster breakthrough advantage in tackling bottleneck technologies such as deep-sea exploration, which confirms the collaborative innovation concept of "writing papers in the workshop".
At China Shipbuilding Group Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Qingdao Beihai"), the grand factory area covering more than 4000 acres, 800 ton large gantry crane, independently developed 210000 ton bulk carrier EEDI index, the world's best, LNG dual fuel power ship type promoting the green ship revolution, stable first ship repair business in China, billions of annual revenue capacity, and production orders already scheduled until 2028 deeply impressed the visiting enterprises. By building the shipbuilding industry Internet platform, Qingdao North Ship has realized the digital collaboration of the whole process of design, supporting and construction, and has driven many supporting enterprises in the province to access the industrial ecological chain.
CSIC Engine Co., Ltd. (formerly known as China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Corporation Diesel Engine Co., Ltd., abbreviated as "CSIC Engine") is a backbone enterprise of low-speed diesel engines in China. Its core products include LNG dual fuel, methanol dual fuel, and traditional engines, with a domestic market share of over 30%. Its products are exported globally with ships, and its customers include international shipping giants such as Maersk and Dafei, covering land power plant engines, energy equipment, ship components, and full lifecycle technical services. Its advanced management service concept, technological innovation measures, and industrial layout have deeply inspired visiting entrepreneurs.
The two-day benchmarking exchange activity yielded fruitful results, achieving a total of 33 collaborative achievements with benchmark enterprises and internal and external enterprises of the association.
Xu Shiping, Director of the Strategic Research Center of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, pointed out in his concluding speech: "With the strong support and assistance of the West Coast New Area Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Yanyuan Business Education College, this event has opened up the bottleneck of cooperation between enterprises inside and outside the association through scenario based learning and industrial chain docking, constructed a mechanism for coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and cultivated a new model of industrial integration and development. The visit of Qingdao North Ship and China Shipbuilding Engine Company has made us realize the strong strength of China's shipbuilding industry and its supporting needs in the industrial chain. The innovative management model of China Shipbuilding Industry and Technology Group provides replicable experience for equipment manufacturing enterprises, and the integrated innovation mechanism of Harbin Engineering Group has provided us with opportunities for deep cooperation between industry, academia and research. Although fruitful results have been achieved, there is a slight regret - during the visit, we found that Qingdao North Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Engine have an urgent demand for large precision gantry machine tools, large pressure vessels and other special equipment, as well as supporting products of the graphite ductile iron forging and casting series. However, several member units with the ability to support the above products were unable to participate in the event due to various reasons, missing the opportunity for industrial cooperation
Su Hongxing, Secretary General of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, expressed gratitude for the strong support from the Qingdao West Coast New Area Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Yanyuan Business Education Research Institute. He pointed out that this event is only the starting point of cooperation with the delegation enterprises.
