Opening the curtain of the industrial era, the map of Chinese construction machinery is influencing and changing the world. As the largest industrial and economic province in northern China, Shandong has a strong industrial foundation and abundant resource advantages. The construction machinery industry chain is one of the 11 industrial chains, with strong capabilities in areas such as engines and transmissions; Hunan is the birthplace of China's construction machinery technology, and Changsha is renowned as the capital of construction machinery both at home and abroad. It has leading advantages in areas such as excavators and lifting machinery. The two provinces of Shandong and Hunan have huge complementary advantages in the fields of humanities, economy, industry, especially in the field of construction machinery.

The conference, with the theme of "New, Green, and Intelligent Assistance for High Quality Development", aims to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of the engineering machinery industry chain between Shandong and Hunan provinces, provide a platform for engineering machinery industry chain enterprises in the two provinces to showcase themselves, expand their markets, and seek cooperation, thereby promoting the supporting cooperation between engineering machinery host and component enterprises in the two provinces, fully leveraging the advantages of the domestic super large market, filling the gaps in the industrial chain supply chain, maintaining the security of the industrial chain supply chain, and improving the international competitiveness and industrial development level of the engineering machinery industry in Shandong and Hunan provinces. More than 200 people attended the conference, including leaders from the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Society of Engineering Machinery, the industrial and information technology departments of Shandong and Hunan provinces, industry associations, and representatives from well-known host and supporting enterprises in the field of engineering machinery. Wang Maoqing, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, introduced the development status of the industrial and engineering machinery industry in Shandong Province in his speech, focusing on the advantageous products of Shandong's leading engineering machinery enterprises represented by Shantui Co., Ltd., Lingong Group, Lingong Heavy Machinery, Jinan Heavy Industry, and Weichai Co., Ltd; He reviewed the achievements of the cooperation in the construction machinery industry between the two provinces and pointed out that the convening of this conference is an important practice to further deepen the cooperation in the construction machinery industry between Shandong and Hunan provinces, promote collaborative innovation in the industrial chain, and lead the high-quality development of the national construction machinery industry. It is also a continuation and sublimation of the friendship between the two provinces. Ni Donghai, a second level inspector of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province, pointed out in his speech that construction machinery is a shining "business card" of Hunan Province's advanced manufacturing industry. The industry's total assets, operating income, and total profit have ranked first in the country for 13 consecutive years, and Changsha's construction machinery industry cluster has become one of the first batch to enter the national advanced manufacturing industry cluster. The exchange and cooperation of construction machinery between the two provinces will undoubtedly promote cross regional industrial cooperation and the coordinated support of construction machinery host and component enterprises, playing an important role in enhancing the modernization level of the industrial chain, strengthening the resilience of the supply chain, and improving international competitiveness.
