In order to give full play to the positive role of science and technology awards in stimulating innovation, in accordance with the spirit of documents such as the "Implementation Measures for the Nomination System of National Science and Technology Awards (Trial)" (Guoke Award [2017] No. 43) and the "Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Science and Technology on Further Encouraging and Regulating the Establishment of Science and Technology Awards by Social Forces" (Guoke Award [2017] No. 196), and combined with the actual situation of our province, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology has drafted the "Implementation Measures for the Nomination System of Shandong Science and Technology Awards (Draft for Comments)" and the "Guiding Opinions on Further Encouraging and Regulating the Establishment of Science and Technology Awards by Social Forces in Shandong Province (Draft for Comments)". We are now soliciting opinions from the public, and the deadline for feedback is August 26, 2018.
