Su Hongxing pointed out that technological innovation is the core element for developing new quality productive forces. Only by leading industry development with technological innovation can we break through development bottlenecks and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises; Talent cultivation is the cornerstone of technological innovation and industrial development. The equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong Province is facing a shortage of high-end management and R&D talents, and urgently needs to strengthen cooperation among industry, academia, and research parties. Su Hongxing hopes to strengthen cooperation with Shandong Sci Tech Innovation Group and related universities and research institutes, build an integrated platform for industry university research, and provide more opportunities and space for the cultivation of scientific and technological talents.

Chen Wenlong introduced that Shandong Sci Tech Innovation Group is a provincial-level state-owned wholly-owned enterprise approved by the provincial government. It focuses on new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, medical care and health, smart ocean and other industrial fields. It focuses on scientific and technological research and development, focuses on the science and technology innovation industry, is committed to the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, dedicated to talent services, creates innovation carriers, lays out science and technology innovation finance, and is committed to cultivating strategic emerging industries and science and technology innovation ecological services. There are 9 platform companies under its umbrella, including science and technology parks, science and technology innovation finance, intellectual property, technology consulting, and industrial research, with more than 180 controlling and participating enterprises. Chen Wenlong believes that the association has the advantage of having numerous member units and close connections with enterprises. Both parties can reach a strategic cooperation, fully leverage their resource advantages, and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry.

Before the discussion and exchange, Chen Wenlong led Su Hongxing and his delegation to visit the exhibition hall of Sci Tech Innovation Group, and provided a detailed introduction to the group's development history and six major development platforms that integrate technology research and development, talent services, technology finance, instrument and equipment sharing, park development, and intellectual property (scientific and technological achievements).
