Notice from the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Conducting the 2018 Internet of Things Integration Innovation and Fusion Application Project Collection Work (MIIT Kehan [2018] No. 217)

Provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, cities specifically designated in the state plan, and the competent departments of industry and information technology of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as relevant units:

In order to implement the Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the Orderly and Healthy Development of the Internet of Things (Guofa [2013] No. 7) and the IoT Volume of the Information and Communication Industry Development Plan (2016-2020) (MIIT Regulation [2016] No. 424), accelerate the construction of an internationally competitive industrial system, deepen the integration and development of the Internet of Things with the economy and society, and promote the process of industrial integration innovation and large-scale development, our department will organize the collection of IoT integration innovation and integration application projects. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

1、 Call for Content

Focusing on the application of key areas of the Internet of Things, the construction of key technologies and service guarantee system of the Internet of Things, we will collect a number of innovative projects of the Internet of Things that are technologically advanced, have outstanding demonstration effects, have strong industry driving power, and can be applied in a large-scale manner. Establish an expert committee to conduct comprehensive evaluation of the application materials.

2、 Solicitation requirements

（1） Enterprises operating in Chinese Mainland with independent legal personality or institutions such as scientific research institutes and universities with independent legal personality.

（2） The same legal entity shall declare no more than 2 items, and the R&D work of the project is mainly completed in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.

（3） The intellectual property rights of the declared project belong to the declaring unit.

（4） The declaring unit promises that the declaration materials provided are free from false information.

3、 Submission method

本次征集工作采取网上填报和纸质版材料报送相结合的方式。

（1） Project application: Applying enterprises and institutions log in to the "National Integrated Circuit Public Service Platform - Internet of Things Integration Innovation and Fusion Application Project Collection System" (www.nicp.org.cn, hereinafter referred to as the "Application System"), complete registration, and fill in the required information for application. The deadline for application is July 30th, 2018.

（2） Project recommendation: Each province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government, planned city, industrial and information technology department of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and central enterprise groups (hereinafter referred to as recommended units) should use the given account and password to log in to the "declaration system". After confirming the recommended project, the system automatically generates a summary table of submitted information, which is printed and stamped with the official seal of the recommending unit.

（3） Project submission: The recommending unit notifies the recommended enterprise to log in to the "application system" to print the project application form and affix the unit seal, and submit it to the recommending unit. The recommended unit should mail the information summary table and project application form to the contact address, and the paper version of the materials should be consistent with the content filled in online.

（4） The deadline for submitting paper materials is August 10, 2018.
