Focusing on 19 iconic industrial chains, Shandong is deeply implementing the "chain leader system" to promote the deep integration of industrial chains, supply chains, and innovation chains. In the first half of this year, the added value of iconic industries such as automobiles, railways, ships, and electronics increased by 16.2%, 21.1%, and 21.9% respectively. The accelerated growth of various industrial chains has helped Shandong achieve new leaps in building a modern industrial system.
Using the "chain" to gather momentum and promote more enterprises to "enter the chain"

According to Wang Maoqing, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, the 19 iconic industrial chains cover fields such as artificial intelligence, new energy equipment, modern medicine, textile and clothing. The number of enterprises entering the chain exceeds 36000, accounting for over 90% of the province's total.
Around the iconic industrial chain, Shandong has successively introduced more than 20 supportive policies for various industries, such as artificial intelligence empowerment, innovative applications of metaverse, development of intelligent connected vehicles, and improvement of pharmaceutical industry quality. It has also launched the "Ten Chains, Hundred Groups, and Ten Thousand Enterprises" action to integrate and strengthen the chain, optimize and upgrade key industrial chains, and promote more small and medium-sized enterprises to enter the chain.
Recently, at a "Automotive Industry Chain Matchmaking Event" held in Fushan District, Yantai City, two responsible persons from Weichai Fudi and Weichai New Energy presented a list of product and core technology requirements on site.
