The reporter learned from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology that 6637 enterprises, including Shandong Bowen Xintong Electric Power Engineering Design Co., Ltd., have been recognized as innovative small and medium-sized enterprises for the year 2022, with a validity period of three years, through procedures such as enterprise self-evaluation and application, municipal audit and evaluation, and provincial summary review.

Innovative small and medium-sized enterprises refer to enterprises with high levels of specialization, strong innovation capabilities, and development potential. They are a part of the gradient cultivation of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises and the foundation of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises. According to relevant documents of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, those who plan to apply for the recognition of specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises in the future must first pass the evaluation of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the 14th Five Year Plan period, Shandong will promote the cultivation of 70000 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, 10000 specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and 1000 specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, coordinate with relevant provincial departments and cities, counties (cities, districts) to formulate special support policies in a hierarchical and classified manner, and strengthen the guarantee of factors such as finance, taxation, finance, technology, industry, talent, land use, and energy use.
