作为当前我国数字经济最活跃的领域，2017年，电子商务发展持续快速增长。中国互联网络信息中心第41次《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》显示，去年，我国电子商务平台收入2188Billion yuan, year-on-year growth43.4%；网上零售额达到7.18万亿元，比上年增长32.2%，再创历史新高。其中，以无人便利店、无人餐厅、无人办公室货架为代表的零售形式层出不穷，刷脸支付服务再次升级了网络零售的便利性。

党的十九大制定了面向新时代的发展蓝图，提出要建设网络强国、数字中国、智慧社会，推动互联网、大数据、人工智能和实体经济深度融合，发展数字经济、共享经济，培育新增长点、形成新动能。

国家网信办有关负责人表示，推动数字经济的共建共享，将深化网络基础设施的建设合作，推进5G技术的研发和商用部署，加快IPv6规模部署应用，建设物联网等新型应用基础设施，使数字经济的“大动脉”更加通畅，更好地发挥数字经济在改善民生、消除贫困方面的积极作用。同时，还将打造数字政府，建设智慧社会，推动网络医疗、网络教育等业态的创新，让人民群众在共享数字经济发展成果方面有更多的获得感。
