The Shandong Innovation Driven Development Conference will be held from September 10th to 11th

For the first time, the "1+3+N" model was adopted, with 51 activities running throughout the year

On September 4th, it was learned from a press conference held by the Provincial Government Information Office that the 2024 Shandong Province Innovation Driven Development Conference will be held in Jining City from September 10th to 11th, with the theme of "Deep Integration of Technological Innovation and Industrial Innovation, Development of New Quality Productivity".

Innovation is the primary driving force. In order to better create an effective carrier for serving innovation driven development, the annual meeting of the Shandong Association for Science and Technology will be upgraded to the Shandong Innovation Driven Development Conference from 2023, highlighting the integration of science and technology and industry, and mobilizing the organization of science and technology associations and workers in our province to actively serve the innovation driven development of our province.

Zhang Bo, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, introduced that this conference is jointly hosted by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Jining Municipal Government. In terms of event planning, we adhere to the service innovation driven development strategy, promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, organize and design 51 activities throughout the year, and adopt the "1+3+N" model for the first time. '1' is a theme that emphasizes the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, and the development of new quality productivity; '3' refers to three major sections, including home events, 30 series of events, and 20 docking and exchange activities organized between experts and enterprises around key industrial chains in Jining City; 'N' refers to other activities organized by Jining City itself.

Among them, 30 series of activities focused on three aspects: serving green, low-carbon and high-quality development, serving rural revitalization, and serving the innovation driven development of enterprises, including Mount Taishan Intelligent Industry Innovation and Development Conference, the National Association of Societies into the Yellow River Delta, the 2024 Freshwater Fisheries Science and Technology Institute Innovation and Development Exchange Conference, the 2024 "Science and Technology Innovation China" Technology Service Conference, and so on. As of now, 13 series of activities have been held in 7 cities, with more than 200 academicians and experts participating. More than 200 enterprise demands have been collected, and more than 500 participating enterprises have participated. More than 40 expert to enterprise communication activities have been organized, and 26 contracts have been signed.
