The reporter learned from the National Development and Reform Commission that this year, the country will promote equipment updates in seven major fields including industry, agriculture, construction, transportation, education, culture and tourism, and healthcare, which is expected to form a huge market with an annual scale of over 5 trillion yuan; Carrying out the upgrading of durable consumer goods such as automobiles, household appliances, and home furnishings is expected to unleash a trillion dollar market potential; To promote the transition from dual control of energy consumption to dual control of carbon emissions, an additional investment of at least 2 trillion yuan per year is required before 2030.

Since the beginning of this year, with the continuous effectiveness of macroeconomic policies, multiple leading indicators have continued to improve. In February, both manufacturing and non manufacturing industry expectations continued to expand. As of March 22, the national unified power generation increased by 10.5%, and industrial electricity consumption increased by 9.4%. This year, the country will implement actions to enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, carry out technological transformation and upgrading projects, promote major technological equipment research and development projects, and promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing industry.
