The digital application of industries has created new advantages for traditional industries in Shandong. In the first 11 months of last year, Shandong implemented 12395 technological transformation projects worth over 5 million yuan, cultivated 523 provincial key projects for digital economy, and achieved a manufacturing digitalization index of 80.3, ranking first in the country; The scale of digital benefits is 787.7 billion yuan, ranking third in the country; The province has been shortlisted for 20 pilot demonstrations of the integration of new generation information technology and manufacturing industry in 2022, as well as 11 typical cases of mobile IoT applications, both ranking first in the country in terms of quantity. Focusing on cultivating the value of data, Shandong is committed to building new models and developing new economies. It is reported that Shandong has implemented the "Data Center Collaborative Construction Action" to cultivate "1+3+N+X" integrated industry cloud centers and regional cloud centers, build the Shandong Industrial Cloud System for big data centers, and promote the formation of new advantages of "enriching traditional industrial products+comprehensive emerging digital products". Shandong is accelerating the construction of the "5351" digital economy innovation platform system, with a focus on cultivating 50 innovation laboratories, 300 industrial innovation centers, 50 innovation service institutions, and 100 innovation talent bases. A total of 3468 high-tech enterprises in the field of digital economy have been recognized. Jinan and Qingdao national backbone Internet direct connection points have been completed and put into operation. The number of 5G base stations in the province has exceeded 162000.
