The proportion of intermediate goods trade in the manufacturing industry has reached about 20% globally, and the number of industrial and information technology brands listed in the Fortune Global 500 has increased from 10 to 24.

The number of automobiles in China has significantly increased from 78 million in 2010 to 310 million currently, especially new energy vehicles, which have ranked first in the world in production for seven consecutive years. In 2021, the service revenue of the third batch of service-oriented manufacturing demonstration enterprises accounted for 48% of the total revenue. In the past decade, China has achieved innovative breakthroughs in areas such as large aircraft, manned spaceflight, power equipment, and high-end CNC machine tools through the implementation of high-end equipment innovation projects. Emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, robots, new materials, biomedicine, and medical equipment have also developed rapidly.
Promote the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry. In the past decade, China has deeply implemented intelligent manufacturing engineering and digital transformation of manufacturing industry, deepened the integrated development of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and manufacturing industry, released the national intelligent manufacturing standard system, built more than 700 digital workshops/factories, implemented 305 intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects and 420 new mode application projects, cultivated more than 6000 system solution providers, and initially built a three-level coordinated industrial Internet security technology monitoring service system at the national, provincial and enterprise levels. In 2021, the CNC rate of key processes and the popularization rate of digital R&D design tools in China's key industrial enterprises reached 55.3% and 74.7%, respectively, an increase of 30.7 and 25.9 percentage points compared to 2012. A number of intelligent demonstration factories are accelerating their construction, and the scale of intelligent manufacturing applications is leading the world. Industries such as petrochemicals, steel, and building materials already have a number of leading enterprises with manufacturing capabilities and intelligent levels that are unparalleled in the world.
推动制造业绿色化转型。十年来，通过实施绿色制造工程，大力推行工业产品绿色设计，我国累计推广约2万种绿色产品，创建近3000家绿色工厂，培育近200家绿色制造服务供应商，累计制定644项节能与绿色发展行业标准，初步构建形成绿色制造体系。通过推进化工、机械、电子、家电、食品、纺织、大型成套设备等重点行业绿色化改造，实施三批366个重点项目，推荐2000余种先进节能技术、装备和产品，相关企业能耗、水耗降低到行业平均水平的60%左右。通过持续努力，规模以上工业单位增加值能耗“十二五”“十三五”分别下降28%和16%，2021年又进一步下降5.6%。（记者 王政）
