Qiao Yueshan, Director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at the opening forum of the Expo that in 2020, the added value of China's electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 7.7% year-on-year, which was 4.9 percentage points higher than the growth rate of industrial added value above designated size. The industry achieved a revenue of 12.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%, accounting for 11.4% of industrial revenue, and its industrial position continues to be highlighted.
In the fields of integrated circuits, new displays, 5G, artificial intelligence, etc., technological innovation is emerging intensively, and the development pace of ultra high definition video, virtual reality, advanced computing and other fields is further accelerating.
