In the face of the urgent situation of the sudden increase in demand for medical protective clothing and other medical supplies, the Party group of the Ministry is fully committed to promoting the resumption of work and production of medical material production enterprises, striving to expand capacity, and supporting other industry enterprises with conditions to accelerate production and reach production as soon as possible. Comrade Miao Wei went to relevant enterprises in Beijing and Tianjin for on-site research. Resident special envoy on-site helps enterprises solve problems encountered in production. After the arduous struggle and joint efforts of Party members and cadres, the ability to ensure the supply of medical materials has gradually strengthened. Taking medical protective clothing as an example, the daily production increased from less than 10000 pieces on January 28th to 316500 pieces on March 4th, an increase of more than 30 times in 36 days.

For high-risk areas, we will continue to focus on epidemic prevention and control work, and gradually restore production and living order according to the epidemic situation. 37 party members and cadres were initially selected as liaison officers for resumption of work and production, dispatched to 7 major industrial provinces to assist local governments in implementing precise policies for resumption of work and production.

Make every effort to alleviate difficulties and difficulties for small and medium-sized enterprises. The sudden epidemic has a serious impact and impact on small and medium-sized enterprises. Our Ministry has given full play to the role of the State Council's leading group for promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises as a coordination mechanism, timely issued the Notice on the Work Related to Responding to the novel coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic and Helping Small and Medium Enterprises to Return to Work and Overcome Difficulties, promoted the introduction of fiscal, financial, social security and other support policies, gave full play to the role of large enterprises, and led small and medium-sized enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to return to work and production. Establish a special re loan for epidemic prevention to ensure that low-cost funds can flow to key supply guarantee enterprises in a timely and accurate manner during the critical period of fighting against the epidemic.
