The Council Meeting of Shandong Industrial Technology Research Institute was held in Jinan

On July 28th, the first and second meetings of the Council of Shandong Industrial Technology Research Institute were held in Jinan. Vice Governor Yu Jie presided over the meeting, and Sun Shutao, Deputy Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Xin Shuren, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Government, Tang Bo, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and other council members attended.

The meeting announced the list of members of the board of directors of the Industrial Research Institute, reviewed and approved the candidates for the president and vice president, as well as normative documents such as the institute's articles of association, fund management measures, and internal organization plan, as well as the overall development plan, 2019 work points, and 2019 fund utilization plan of the institute. Yu Jie is the chairman, Sun Shutao and Tang Bo are vice chairmen, and Tang Bo also serves as the secretary-general. Sun Dianyi is the president of the Industrial Research Institute.

Yu Jie pointed out that currently, driven by innovation, accelerating the transformation of old and new driving forces, and promoting the transformation of economic development quality, efficiency, and driving force have become new requirements and directions for regional economic development. The establishment of the Industry Research Institute is a major decision and deployment made by the provincial party committee and government to deepen the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy and accelerate the transformation of old and new driving forces. It is a strategic move to adhere to demand driven and problem oriented approaches, comply with industrial development trends, and achieve high-quality development. Since the establishment of the Industrial Research Institute, the provincial party committee and government have attached great importance to it and organized multiple meetings for special research and deployment. The convening of this council marks a new stage in the comprehensive launch, promotion, and implementation of various work of the Industry Research Institute. We need to unify our thinking, clarify our positioning, further enhance our sense of responsibility, mission, and urgency, adhere to the original mission of "innovating industrial technology to benefit the people of Shandong", fulfill our duties and responsibilities, fully play the role of the Council and the Council, focus on key areas, leverage advantages, and build a high-quality industrial research institute.
