Ningxia Zhongwei Industrial Park is an autonomous region level comprehensive industrial park planned and constructed by the Zhongwei Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government on the north side of the city to achieve the strategic goal of "strengthening the city through industry". It integrates industrial development and ecological greening. This is located in the geometric center of China's land, at the throat of the Eurasian Continental Bridge, with 4 railways, 6 highways, and 12 air routes radiating across the country, known as "China's center". The park is 12 kilometers away from the city center in a straight line, achieving the integration of industry and city, with a planned area of 50 square kilometers, and realizing the "seven connections and one leveling" of roads, water supply, drainage, power supply, communication, heating, natural gas, and the site of settled enterprises. As of now, 75 large-scale enterprises have been cultivated, achieving an industrial output value of 30 billion yuan and providing employment for 18000 people. At present, three advantageous characteristic industries have been formed: cloud computing big data, fine chemicals, and steel metallurgy. The park has been successively rated as a national green park, a national model industrial park with harmonious labor relations, an excellent park in the autonomous region, the second batch of pilot units for circular economy in the whole region, and a high-tech industrial development zone in the autonomous region. In December 2021, it was selected as a national demonstration platform for public services for small and medium-sized enterprises for the year 2021.
