TBEA promotes high-quality development of the industry: resonance between party building and technological progress
The mechanical industry is an industry that provides technical equipment for the national economy and defense construction, and is an important pillar and leading industry of the national economy. In the scorching summer, we walked into the Xinjiang Transformer Factory of TBEA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TBEA") located in Changji City, Xinjiang. In the tidy workshop, workers were busy producing transformer products of different specifications with the assistance of various equipment such as horizontal winding machines, air cushion vehicles, and overhead cranes.
The orders that are being produced overtime not only include domestic customers such as enterprises located in the Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone and Southern Power Grid, but also international orders such as Cambodia and Papua New Guinea, "said Ma Zhongxiang, the director of the winding workshop, proudly pointing to the busy production of each product by the workers in front of him. In 2004, Ma Zhongxiang joined TBEA as a winding worker and experienced firsthand the development and growth of the company: "When I first entered the factory, I could only produce transformers of 220kV and below. Nowadays, not only can we produce world leading transmission and transformation equipment at ± 1100kV level, but many products have also gone abroad
In 1988, TBEA started as a small street factory on the brink of bankruptcy with assets of less than 150000 yuan, liabilities of 730000 yuan, and annual income of less than 100000 yuan. After more than 30 years of hard work, it has now become a backbone enterprise in the power transmission and transformation industry. In addition, TBEA is also a national base for the research and development of polycrystalline silicon new materials and large-scale aluminum electronic exports, as well as a large-scale solar photovoltaic and wind power system integrator. It has 18 industrial bases in China and 2 bases overseas.
The key to the survival and growth of TBEA from a small street factory is continuous technological innovation, "said Meng Jie, the chief engineer of the transformer factory who has worked in the technical position for 24 years. TBEA invests 4% of its annual sales revenue in independent innovation and research and development, and has established the only national research center for ultra-high voltage transformer engineering technology. At present, the research center and the company's existing national engineering laboratories in the fields of power transmission and transformation, new energy, and new materials, as well as postdoctoral research workstations and academician workstations, jointly form an open innovation platform that combines industry, academia, research, and application. The enterprise has undertaken research and innovation projects such as the National 863 Program, Key R&D Program, and local major special projects, achieving 126 major breakthroughs in independent technology, including 65 world firsts and 61 domestic firsts. It has accumulated over 1600 patents, technical secrets, software copyrights, and participated in 210 domestic and international standard revisions.
The progress of technology cannot be separated from the continuous empowerment of enterprise development by party building work.
Ensure that every transformer product that comes out of our hands passes the one-time test. "In the winding workshop, the leader of the lead wire team, Zheng Yunfei, led more than 10 team members to assemble transformers." The team is equipped with four technically skilled party members who have played a pioneering and exemplary role in key areas such as quality control and technical breakthroughs.
Nowadays, the party organization of TBEA has grown from one party branch at the beginning of its establishment in 1988 to a large enterprise party committee with 16 grassroots party committees (party branches) and 115 grassroots party branches. The total number of party members in the group is over 4200, accounting for 20% of the total number of employees. The party building work is deeply integrated and resonating with the development of TBEA, promoting the high-quality development of high-end equipment manufacturing services, new energy, new materials and other industries in the enterprise's power transmission and transformation.
