Weichai International Supporting Industrial Park has a total investment of over 200 billion yuan for construction

On July 13th, the Weichai International Supporting Industrial Park located in Weifang High tech Zone began construction. 20 companies from around the world, including Germany's Knorr Bremse, Switzerland's Tyco, Italy's Sofima, and South Korea's Shengda, participated in the signing ceremony of the park's entry projects, covering three major supporting enterprises: complete vehicles, new energy, and engines.

Weichai International Supporting Industrial Park is one of the 10 major projects identified by the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and Government, covering a total area of 30000 acres with a total investment of over 200 billion yuan. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 500 billion yuan and a tax revenue of over 30 billion yuan in the future. It plans to introduce more than 500 enterprises and build a world-class trillion level power industry park, creating Weifang International Power City.

Weifang Municipal Party Secretary Hui Xin'an stated that the construction of Weichai International Supporting Industrial Park is an important step for Weichai to grow into a trillion level enterprise and a major measure for Weifang to build an international power city. Weichai's major suppliers actively settle in supporting industrial parks, which is conducive to improving the level of professional cooperation, forming agglomeration effects, sharing development resources, and further consolidating and deepening the cooperative relationship with Weichai, expanding mutual benefit and win-win results.

It is reported that prior to this, Weifang City had already introduced the "Weichai Group Supporting Industrial Park Preferential Policy", providing preferential treatment in investment, land, finance and taxation, finance, talent and other aspects to attract the development of upstream and downstream enterprise clusters in the industrial chain.
