At 19:45 local time on June 20th, the PAMPA project PTR (Reliability Test Run) in Brazil was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the commercial operation of the project by the end of June.
The PAMPA coal-fired power plant project in Brazil is located in Candiota, Rio Grande do Sul state, with a construction scale of one 345MW coal-fired unit. It is currently the largest coal-fired power plant under construction in Brazil and is under EPC general contracting by Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute. The design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and performance testing of this power station project are carried out in accordance with international standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO, and IEC, and strictly adhere to mandatory local standards and specifications in Brazil. After completion, it will greatly change and enhance the power supply in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, improve the living environment of residents, enhance their quality of life, and promote and drive the economic development around the power plant and even the entire Rio Grande do Sul state.
Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd., the vice president unit of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association, has undertaken the design, production, installation and commissioning services of products such as large angle belt conveyors, mobile unloading vehicles, and belt conveyors in the power station project.
Due to the poor quality of local coal, with a calorific value of only 2000 kcal and a relatively large amount of ash powder, equipment such as belt conveyors for coal transportation must operate at full capacity for 20 hours a day. The products provided by the company, such as large angle belt conveyors, mobile unloading trucks, and belt conveyors, have not encountered any problems during operation, ensuring that the generator is currently running at full load for ten days, and well guaranteeing the first successful PTR (Reliability Test RELIABILITYTEST RUN) of the coal-fired power plant.
