The State Administration for Market Regulation has released a batch of national standards
On November 24th, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a special press conference on "Improving High Quality Life with Standards" and released a batch of national standards, mainly related to food, consumer goods, safety production, cross-border e-commerce and other fields, aiming to further play the fundamental and leading role of standards and promote high-quality social and economic development.
In the field of food, the standard "Quality General Rules for Coated Tin plated or Chromium plated Steel Plates for Food Containers" specifies the quality technical indicators, inspection methods, and evaluation requirements for coated tin plated or chromium plated steel plates. Two standards, including "Determination of Acid, Sulfur, and Salt Resistance of Coating Layer on the Inner Wall of Food Metal Containers", have solved the problems of missing measurement method standards and inconsistent corresponding measurement methods in multiple product standards.
In the field of consumer goods, the two standards of "Watch Diving Watch" and "Vapor Deposition Coating on Watch Shell and Accessories" are consistent with international standards, which is conducive to promoting the quality level of China's watch products to be in line with international standards and improving the competitiveness of China's watch products in the international market.
In the field of safety production, the "Safety Distance for Preventing Upper and Lower Limbs from Touching Dangerous Areas in Mechanical Safety" standard determines the minimum safety distance for operators to touch dangerous areas with their limbs. The standard "Design and Selection Principles for Mechanical Safety Dual Hand Control Devices" provides the selection principles and safety requirements for dual hand control devices, an important protective device, in mechanical products. These two standards will provide important basis for the design, manufacturing, and layout of safety protection devices for mechanical products in various fields, improve the overall safety performance of mechanical products, prevent safety accidents caused by accidental or misoperation, and greatly enhance the level of enterprise safety production.
In the field of cross-border e-commerce, four standards including the "Comprehensive Service Management Specification for Cross border E-commerce of Small and Medium sized Enterprises" and the "Quality Evaluation of Cross border E-commerce Transaction Services" stipulate requirements for cross-border e-commerce comprehensive services, multilingual description of smartphone and ceramic product information, and evaluation of transaction service quality. This is beneficial for strengthening support for cross-border e-commerce comprehensive services for small and medium-sized enterprises and solving problems such as gaps in cross-border e-commerce product information description.
At the same time, the newly formulated "Animal Radio Frequency Identification Part 1: Consistency Assessment of Radio Frequency Identification Tags with GB/T 20563 and GB/T 22334" standard aims to solve the problem of collecting and sharing "ID card" information used in animal breeding, help standardize the production of radio frequency identification tags in China, narrow the gap with advanced foreign technologies, and comprehensively promote the application of radio frequency identification tags in smart breeding and management, animal food safety, and other aspects.
The relevant person in charge of the Standards and Technology Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation stated that in the next step, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standards Committee) will conscientiously implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, focus on economic and social development and people's livelihood security, strengthen the supply of national standards in key areas, accelerate the construction of a standard system to promote high-quality development, help the economy and society achieve high-quality development, and meet people's aspirations for a better life.
