Shandong Province Standardization Innovation and Development Work Conference was held

On the morning of September 13, the provincial standardization innovation and development work conference was held in Jinan. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on standardization work, fully implemented the national standardization development outline, mobilized all departments at all levels to further unify their thinking, clarify the path, and accelerate the development of standardization innovation in the province.

The meeting announced the approval of the pilot program for international standardization innovation and development in Shandong Province. Li Ganjie said in his speech that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to standardization work and has made a series of important statements, which have pointed out the direction and provided fundamental guidance for us to do a good job. In recent years, the provincial party committee and government have deeply implemented the important instructions and requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping, vigorously implemented the standardization strategy, and carried out comprehensive reform pilot projects for national standardization, achieving positive results. Standards are the "booster" of technological innovation, the "compass" of industrial transformation, the "passport" of economic and trade exchanges, and the "measure" of social governance. With the rapid development of the economy and society, the fundamental, strategic, and leading role of standardization is increasingly prominent. To accelerate the construction of a socialist modernized strong province in the new era, promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development, standardization should be regarded as an important strategy, an important support for accelerating economic transformation and promoting technological innovation, a solid guarantee for expanding opening up, serving and integrating into the new development pattern, and a powerful lever for optimizing social governance and promoting rural revitalization, striving to achieve greater practical results. Our province has been approved to carry out national standardization innovation and development pilot projects, which brings us new important opportunities to do a good job in standardization work. All levels and departments should stand at a strategic and global level, effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, comprehensively implement the reform pilot tasks, set a Shandong example for the implementation of the national standardization strategy, firmly support the "two consolidations" and resolutely achieve the "two safeguards" through practical actions.

Li Ganjie emphasized that to accelerate the pilot construction of standardized innovation and development, we must anchor the overall principle, positioning, and navigation mark of "leading the way and opening up a new chapter", accelerate the development of standardized innovation in various fields, and comprehensively enhance Shandong's standard innovation capability. Efforts should be made to form a "1+4+N" standardized innovation development pattern: creating a "highland", which serves the national standardization strategy and leads the strategic highland of standardized innovation development; Construct "four demonstration zones", namely the leading zone for scientific and technological innovation standardization, the driving zone for kinetic energy conversion standardization, the leading zone for new development pattern standardization, and the standardization practice zone for promoting the process of common prosperity; Establish and improve a comprehensive standard system to promote high-quality development. In work, we should vigorously promote the standardization of scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the research and development of key technical standards, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into standards. In his speech, Tian Shihong fully affirmed the achievements of standardization work in Shandong Province, and hoped that Shandong Province would take the lead in implementing the "National Standardization Development Outline" and achieve the "four transformations": in terms of standard supply, it would take the lead in realizing the transformation from government led to equal emphasis on government and market; In terms of standard application, we will take the lead in realizing the transformation from industry and trade as the main focus to the overall economic and social development; In standardization work, take the lead in achieving a shift from domestic driven to domestic international mutual promotion; In the development of standardization, we are the first to achieve a transformation from quantity and scale oriented to quality and efficiency oriented.
