On April 17th, 2024, the preparatory work symposium for the 2nd Zibo Hardware and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing and Trading Fair was held in the conference room on the third floor of Shandong Tongli Hardware and Electrical Chain Co., Ltd., the executive chairman unit of Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. Zhang Huixin, President of Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, Zheng Hui, Executive President and Secretary General, Wang Zhongyong, Executive President and President of Zibo Hardware and Electrical Chamber of Commerce, Chen Ting, Secretary General, and relevant personnel from the two business association secretaries attended the meeting.

During the symposium, everyone actively and enthusiastically spoke about how to run this trade fair well. They had lively discussions on pre preparation, investment and exhibition, publicity and promotion, policy release, and invited leaders from relevant government functional departments/business associations/news media. They put forward multiple innovative and pragmatic opinions and suggestions.
The meeting agreed that the first Zibo Hardware and Electrical Industrial Products Trading Fair in 2023 will be officially renamed as the "2024 Second Zibo Hardware and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Trading Fair", scheduled to be held from May 17 to 19, 2024, at the square of Luzhong Electromechanical City (No. 111 Changguo West Road, Zhangdian District, Zibo City), and will serve as the preparatory office for the trade fair.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Wang Zhongyong delivered a welcome speech and introduced the development of the hardware and electrical circulation industry in Zibo City and the purpose of holding the trade fair from the aspects of industry categories, industry scale, etc. The theme of this trade fair is "Technological Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Manufacturing, Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection, Cooperation and Win Win". The address is located in the largest hardware and electromechanical trading base in Zibo - Luzhong Electromechanical City North Square, with an exhibition area of 5000 square meters. More than 150 participating companies are planned to be invited, mainly from Zibo's equipment manufacturing industry and related supporting enterprises. The buyers involve potential customers from more than ten provinces and cities including Jiangsu, Wenzhou, Hebei, Henan, Liaoning, etc. The exhibited products include large-scale intelligent equipment for equipment manufacturing, industrial robots, hardware and electromechanical industrial products, high-efficiency energy-saving motors, laser environmental protection equipment and other supporting products. The trade fair is not only about showcasing Zibo products and promoting brands, but also aims to gain insights into industry trends and provide an opportunity for member companies of the business association to seek business opportunities and expand their markets.
President Zhang Huixin stated that the 2nd Hardware and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Products Fair involves various fields of equipment manufacturing and hardware and electrical industries, with a complete range of industries and strong supporting capabilities. Two business associations successfully held the first trade fair together last year and achieved certain results. This year, we will carefully summarize the experience and lessons learned, and with the strong support of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and various sectors of society, we will make this trade fair better. The Secretariat of Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association must take it seriously, strive to do a good job in the preparation work, and at the same time, mobilize all member units of the association to actively register for exhibitions. In addition, the preparatory team should strengthen public opinion promotion from multiple perspectives, channels, and levels, vigorously enhance the publicity and reporting of the exhibition, attract more exhibitors and merchants, and enable all participating enterprises to gain something and return with a full load.
