Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association held a celebration of the 20th National Congress of Ideal and Belief Education Activities

To further enhance the party spirit and cultivation of party members, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and boost their passion for work and entrepreneurship. On August 7th, the Party branch of Zibo Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association organized some member enterprise party members, leaders, enterprise leaders, and employees to visit the Zhu Yanfu Memorial Exhibition Hall and the 618 War Preparedness Radio Red Education Base to carry out ideal and belief education activities to welcome the 20th National Congress.

Association President and Party Branch Secretary Zhang Huixin, Organization Member and Executive President/Secretary General Zheng Hui, Executive President Han Huaisheng, Branch Members Jing Changbao and Hu Xiaobo, as well as Party member leaders, enterprise leaders, and employees of some member companies participated in the event.

Activity first stop: Visit the Dazhaitian and Penggou construction areas led by Zhu Yanfu, the former site of Zhangjiaquan Village Farmers' Night School, and Zhu Yanfu's old residence. Under the guidance of the guide, everyone watched and discussed with great reverence, deeply impressed by Zhu Yanfu's leadership of the villagers, their courage to face difficulties, their willingness to change the appearance of the poor mountains, and their indomitable spirit of struggle.

Entering the Exhibition Hall of Zhu Yanfu's Deeds, everyone carefully watched the exhibits and pictures, listened carefully to the introduction of Comrade Zhu Yanfu's life story by the guide, and learned about Comrade Zhu Yanfu's heroic deeds from pictures, objects, and real stories in all aspects. He lost his limbs and left eye in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War. Dragging his heavily disabled body, he led the villagers in mountain and land development, water conservancy construction, and education revitalization, making tremendous efforts to change the backward appearance of his hometown. He held a pen with his remaining limbs and knelt down to write the masterpieces "Extreme Life" and "No Regrets for Men". His indomitable spirit of self-improvement left a deep emotional shock and resonance for everyone.

In front of the Zhu Yanfu Memorial Hall, Communist Party members solemnly raised their right fists and faced the bright red party flag, revisiting their oath of joining the party. The resounding and powerful vows express the original aspiration and mission of every Communist Party member to listen to the Party's words and follow the Party, and express the responsibility and commitment of everyone to not be afraid of difficulties and to strive bravely.

Comrade Wang Houli, a Party member, deeply felt that visiting the Zhu Yanfu Exhibition Hall was a great gain. As a severely disabled soldier who survived the war, he did not lie on his credit book for pleasure, but firmly believed that "it is better to burn (Zhu Yanfu) than to rot". His steel like will to lead villagers to wealth with his remains is worth learning from for each of us. We must firmly believe that we are facing difficulties and there are no difficulties in front of us, and make a hundredfold effort for the development of the enterprise when we do business and cause.

Activity second stop: Visit the former site of the 618 War Preparedness Radio Station, trace the red footprints, and relive the turbulent years.The 618 War Preparedness Radio Station was originally the Shandong People's Broadcasting Station War Preparedness Station, and is the largest and most well preserved war preparedness radio station in East China.

Everyone walked through the mountain tunnels, listening to the detailed interpretation of the military preparedness history by the guide, carefully viewing the precious materials, pictures, and objects displayed, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the scene and truly feel the spirit of the people's army's hard work and selfless dedication back then.

Comrade Zhao Changkui, a Party member, said that the association's organization of this event is of great educational significance. As we follow the red footsteps and revisit the turbulent years, we should feel the preciousness of peace. We should turn the spirit of hard work and struggle of our revolutionary predecessors into the passion for work and entrepreneurship, and make new contributions to accelerating the development of the company.

Zhang Huixin, the President of the Association and Secretary of the Party Branch, mentioned during his communication with everyone that on the occasion of the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we have launched this ideal and belief education activity, organizing everyone to visit the Zhu Yanfu Memorial Hall and the 618 Military Preparedness Radio Red Education Base. Through visiting and learning, all personnel have undergone a profound spiritual baptism. We should take Comrade Zhu Yanfu, the "model of the times", as an example, inherit and carry forward the indomitable revolutionary spirit of our revolutionary predecessors, practice our original aspiration and mission, work hard, and make our own enterprise better and stronger. With full enthusiasm and practical actions, we will welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
