Shandong Haifu Photon Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and is located on Dinghai Road in Shuangdao Bay Science and Technology City, Weihai High tech Zone. Before the research, the staff of the association had done their homework and learned that Haifu Photon's "High end Fiber Laser Industrialization" project had been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, and it was also a "Provincial Emerging Strategic Enterprise" in Shandong Province and the leading unit of the National Science and Technology Ministry's 863 (Single Fiber Ten Thousand Watt Fiber Laser) project; Has won over 70 Chinese patents, was awarded the title of Shandong Fiber Laser Technology Engineering Laboratory by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in April 2014, and was designated as the Shandong Fiber Laser Engineering Technology Research Center by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology in September 2015.

Chairman Shi Wei introduced that the company has established a glass fiber manufacturing platform with world advanced level, successfully breaking the technological monopoly of foreign countries on the core components of high-power fiber lasers. It has four provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievement appraisals and developed kilowatt level all fiber laser products.

During the visit, we learned that Chairman Shi Wei is a distinguished expert of the National Talent Project, a Fellow of the American Optical Society, a standing director of the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, a professor and doctoral advisor of Tianjin University, a part-time professor of the Optical Center of the University of Arizona, and a Mount Taishan scholar.
For many years, Chairman Shi Wei has been engaged in the research and industrialization of high-end high-performance high-power fiber lasers. He is one of the international leaders in "high-end fiber lasers" and a true Confucian businessman.
During the investigation, Deputy Secretary General of Zhongxia also introduced the rotating president of the association to Chairman Shi Wei. He said that the CEO of the company is very busy with official duties. So it is recommended to implement a flexible term for the rotating president, with a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 1 year; Each president and vice president shall, according to the specific work plan, determine within the prescribed time frame and report to the association's secretariat for filing. The association's secretariat will make every effort to carry out relevant work.
