Regarding the Forwarding of the Notice on Organizing the Recommendation of Shandong Province's Characteristic Industrial Clusters for 2022

      In order to deepen the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy, consolidate and strengthen the foundation of the real economy, and in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to solidly promote the "Ten Major Innovations" work, accelerate the cultivation and construction of a number of characteristic advantageous industry clusters with outstanding characteristics and advantages, efficient industrial chain coordination, strong core competitiveness, and a sound public service system, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Issuing the Shandong Provincial Special Industry Cluster Recommendation Work for 2022" (Lugongxinfa [2020] No. 5), we will organize and carry out the work.

      Characteristic industrial clusters are an important engine for driving high-quality regional economic development in our province, and a powerful lever for promoting high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises and promoting the construction of a new dual circulation development pattern. They have the characteristics and advantages of high industrial agglomeration, good growth potential, strong innovation ability, perfect public services, excellent development environment, and strong driving ability. Each city should attach great importance to the organization and recommendation of characteristic industrial clusters, further conduct cluster mapping and sorting, comprehensively examine indicators such as economic aggregate and growth, quality and efficiency, agglomeration capacity, innovation, green development, and online marketing, and select clusters with outstanding industrial characteristics, obvious development advantages, and potential to drive regional economic development within the recommended area.

      During the application process, each city should carefully organize the applying units to carefully prepare the application materials in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Management Measures for Characteristic Industrial Clusters in Shandong Province", ensuring that the materials are authentic and compliant. Each city recommends no more than 5 clusters. Please send the PDF version of the recommendation letter, EXCEL version of the summary table, and WORD version of the cluster application form to the contact email before March 31st.
