Notice on Forwarding the Letter from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province on Soliciting Weak links in the Industrial Foundation
Equipment manufacturing industry associations, professional branches (group member units), member enterprises, and equipment manufacturing related enterprises in various cities:
In order to formulate and implement the provincial industrial strong foundation project, enhance industrial basic capabilities, eliminate blank links in the industrial chain, promote the upgrading of the industrial foundation and modernization of the industrial chain, and in accordance with the key task requirements determined in the provincial government work report, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology is now collecting weak links in our province's industrial foundation, establishing a database, and our association will also provide support based on the links to relevant resources of enterprises' weak links. Please fill in the relevant information carefully. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
1、 Solicitation conditions
（1） The key directions of the database are mainly selected from the "four basics" of core basic components, basic components, basic industrial software, key basic materials, advanced basic processes, and industrial technology foundations in the industrial basic field.
（2） Focus on the key core bottlenecks and shortcomings in the industrial infrastructure sector that currently have gaps or are unable to meet the needs of key projects and major equipment in China, and that constrain the development of our province's industries and national security, such as core components and key materials that rely on imports or have a significant gap in product quality compared to international advanced levels.
（3） The province already has a certain engineering and industrialization foundation, but it is still a key weakness in the industrial infrastructure field at the mid to low level of the industrial chain.
2、 Job requirements
This solicitation work is an important basic data for the next step in the preparation and implementation of the province's industrial strong foundation project. All units should attach great importance to it, deeply understand the significance of improving the level of industrial foundation capability from a strategic and provincial perspective, and effectively enhance their sense of mission and responsibility. Please fill out the "Shandong Province Industrial Foundation Weak Link Registration Form" truthfully and clearly according to the filling instructions, and submit it to our association before May 9, 2020. Our association will sort and summarize it, and submit it to the Planning and Technical Transformation Department of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology (the materials and forms provided this time must be publicly available after review).
