The 25th Lutai Conference will be held from September 1st to 4th, 2019 at the Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang, Shandong Province. This exhibition will continue to focus on creating an intelligent manufacturing themed exhibition, while also holding special, precise docking and negotiation activities, aiming to provide a high-quality cooperation platform for exhibitors and participants to communicate, negotiate, trade and invest. The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association, as a key professional association, was invited to participate in this year's Lutai Conference Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition as a group. Association members are eligible for full subsidies and can participate for free upon receiving this notice.

Overview of Weifang

Weifang is an important regional center city and coastal city around the Bohai Sea in Shandong Province, and an important industrial city in Shandong. At present, Weifang is accelerating the cultivation of two 500 billion level industries, namely mechanical equipment and high-end chemical engineering, two 200 billion level industries, namely food processing and textile and clothing, and five 100 billion level industries, including electronic information, biopharmaceuticals, packaging and printing, in order to build a strong industrial city. The mechanical equipment manufacturing industry is a traditional advantageous pillar industry in Weifang City. In order to adapt to the new normal of economic development, we will deepen the construction of a modern industrial system for mechanical equipment, achieve the strategic transformation from a large mechanical equipment city to a strong city, actively promote the transformation and upgrading of the mechanical equipment manufacturing industry, and gradually achieve intelligent manufacturing. As an important platform for technological exchange and cooperation between Shandong and Taiwan, the Shandong Taiwan Association will effectively promote the structural adjustment, transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of the manufacturing industry in Shandong Province.

Exhibition Overview

The Shandong Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair was founded in 1994. It is a cross-strait economic, trade, and cultural exchange event jointly organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the People's Government of Shandong Province, with the participation of major Taiwanese guilds. It has been successfully held for 24 sessions and is praised by the Taiwan Affairs Office as the "longest and largest economic, trade, and cultural exchange event in history"

The Lutaihui Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition is one of the important activities of the Lutaihui Economic and Trade Fair. It adopts an integrated exhibition operation mode, focusing on the exhibition and display of intelligent equipment and terminals, industrial robots, machine tool molds, new energy vehicles and spare parts, electronic instruments and equipment, printing and packaging equipment, and other content.

In 2018, the 24th Lutai Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition opened at the Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang, Shandong Province, with an exhibition area of 50000 square meters and a total of 624 participating units. Among them, there were 202 Taiwanese participating units, including Weichai, Linde Forklift, Xiagong, Shantui, Huiqiang Heavy Industry, Shengrui Transmission, SAIC, Geely, Chang'an, Zhongke, Ruichi, Jiatai, Qiaofeng, Huanyan, Jiesheng, Jugao, Yangli, Baoyu, Wanjia, Yangmu, Zhenhua, Senda, Baolifeng, Ligong, Daxing, Jeno, Taiwan Dabao, Xiehong, Yulong, Qichuan, Qiying, Donggang, Beilang. Many well-known domestic and foreign intelligent manufacturing brands, such as Tong You Shun, participated in the collective exhibition. The exhibition attracted over 160000 visitors, achieving a transaction volume of 528 million yuan and an intended transaction volume of 2.327 billion yuan. More than 70 domestic and foreign media attended the meeting for interviews and reports.

The 25th Lutai Conference will be held from September 1st to 4th, 2019 at the Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang, Shandong Province. The total planned exhibition area is 50000 square meters, with four major theme exhibitions including intelligent manufacturing, cross-strait cultural and creative industries, food, and big health. The cross-strait intelligent manufacturing exhibition has an exhibition area of nearly 30000 square meters.
