In order to implement the deployment requirements of the provincial party committee and the provincial government for "actively building a new highland for opening up", accelerate the transformation of new and old drivers of enterprises in our province and achieve high-quality development, promote the in-depth cooperation between the machine tool machinery, building materials and hardware, electric energy, chemical industry, whole vehicle and auto parts industries in our province and the countries along the "the Belt and Road", and expand economic and trade exchanges with Kenya and other African countries, the provincial equipment manufacturing industry association will organize enterprises to participate in the 2019 Kenya Shandong Commodity Fair and carry out the Shandong Kenya economic and trade exchange docking meeting.

1、 Exhibition Overview

（4） Exhibition Introduction: Kenya Shandong Commodity Exhibition is an exhibition within the exhibition of Kenya International Industrial Exhibition, which is one of the most influential professional exhibitions in East Africa. This exhibition focuses on accurately connecting participating companies with local economic and trade partners, and is an important platform for domestic enterprises to explore emerging international markets in Kenya and its surrounding areas, and expand international production capacity cooperation.

On October 25, 2018, the Kenya International Industrial Exhibition was successfully held in Nairobi. Yu Xiaoming, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition and delivered a speech. The Shandong exhibition group has 31 participating companies with an exhibition area of 360 square meters, attracting more than 2100 professional merchants from countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Qatar, India, Somalia, etc. The exhibition group intends to achieve a turnover of 7.3 million US dollars.

1. Machine tool machinery: machine tools and accessories, general machinery, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, construction machinery, food machinery, packaging machinery, environmental protection machinery, medical equipment, textile machinery, storage equipment, etc;

2. Building materials and hardware: panels, aluminum materials, steel, glass, coatings, adhesives, waterproof materials, integrated houses, hardware fittings, tools, etc;

3. Electric energy: power equipment, generators, wires and cables, lighting equipment, photovoltaic power generation equipment, etc;

4. Chemical industry: fertilizers, pesticides, daily chemical products, fine and specialty chemicals, plastic products, pharmaceuticals, etc;

5. Whole vehicle and auto parts: automobiles, motorcycles, electric vehicles, and related auto parts, etc

The Kenyan government is actively promoting the 2030 Vision plan, hoping to develop into an emerging industrialized country by 2030. As one of the three major shipping hubs in Africa, Kenya plays a crucial role in the foreign economic and trade cooperation of African countries. As an important fulcrum of the "the Belt and Road" initiative in Africa, Kenya is also one of the countries receiving the most overseas investment from China. As the largest economy in East Africa, Kenya's GDP growth has been between 5% and 7% in recent years, and its economic development momentum is rapid. As of now, the population of Kenya has reached 45.4 million and is increasing year by year. The strong population base ensures strong market demand. Kenya is politically stable, with a smooth transition to the 2017 elections, a stable exchange rate, no foreign exchange controls, and a relatively ideal business environment.

Kenya is a major advocate for regional cooperation organizations such as the East African Community and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa. Its capital, Nairobi, is one of the best located and most influential commercial centers in the region. The East African Community, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda and South Sudan, covers an area of more than 2.4 million square kilometers and has a population of about 170 million. At present, the Common Market for Southeast Africa has expanded to 19 member countries, forming a huge market with a regional area of more than 12 million square kilometers, a population of more than 400 million, a GDP of more than 360 billion dollars, and foreign trade of more than 270 billion dollars.

2、 Shandong Kenya Economic and Trade Exchange Matchmaking Conference

The Shandong Kenya Economic and Trade Exchange Matchmaking Conference mainly includes the following activities:

（1） Visit Athi River Industrial Park, where there are several Shandong enterprises investing and building factories in Kenya.

（2） Hold a press conference to promote the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and its member enterprises. We plan to invite China Daily, Daily Nation or Standard, Classic FM or Capital FM.

（三）、与东部非洲中国总商会、肯尼亚山东商会召开欢迎晚宴。

（四）、展会第一天，巡视展馆并拜访参展企业，下午在展馆和肯尼亚工商联合会、肯尼亚中小微企业协会召开对接会。

（五）、参加“肯尼亚国际工业展暨肯尼亚山东商品展”开幕式（开幕式外方嘉宾单位来自肯尼亚贸工部，肯尼亚投资局，内罗毕郡政府，肯尼亚工商会，肯尼亚制造商协会等。中方嘉宾单位，我驻肯尼亚使馆经商处，山东省商务厅，山东省装备制造业协会，各省商会代表，中资企业代表等）展会参观。

（六）、参加山东-肯尼亚经贸对接会，提前为会员企业对口邀请当地企业一对一洽谈（肯尼亚制造业协会）

（七）、参加肯尼亚投资政策推介会，介绍公司注册、人员签证、当地法律、厂房建设、劳工情况、优惠政策等（肯尼亚投资局）。

Registration fee: 2000 yuan/company

展位费：29800元/9平米标准展位（包含：楣板、射灯、地毯、垃圾桶、接待台、一桌三椅等），此展会是山东省2019年境外百展计划中的B类展会，展位费补贴80%。
