Since the beginning of this year, under the correct leadership of the provincial party committee and government, the vast number of enterprises and all colleagues in the equipment manufacturing industry in the province have explored and innovated, worked hard, and achieved excellent results. In the first three quarters of this year, the added value of equipment manufacturing industry above designated size in our province increased10.8%, which is 3.8 percentage points higher than the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size. The equipment manufacturing industry has become an important force for industrial growth in our province. Currently, the provincial party committee and government are vigorously promoting the transformation of old and new driving forces, and have established the development path of "four new, four modernizations, and four improvements, to build Shandong's new industry".

The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association is responsible for assisting relevant departments of the provincial government in implementing management and standardization of the entire industry, building bridges and links between the government and enterprises, and guiding and leading the accelerated and healthy development of the equipment manufacturing industry in the province.
