As an old industrial base in China, the population of Northeast China exceeds one billion,With a GDP of nearly 5 trillion yuan, it is an important economic sector in China. Dalian, as the port center and sea air transportation hub of Northeast China, has multiple regional center functions such as trade, services, and finance. It is a foreign trade center, high-end technology product distribution center, financial center, information center, and exhibition center in Northeast China. The opening of the Harbin Dalian electrified railway has quickly connected 10 important cities, which account for 60% of the total economic output of the three provinces in Northeast China. It takes 1.5 hours from Shenyang to Dalian, 2.5 hours from Changchun to Dalian, and only 3 hours from Harbin to Dalian, achieving convenient transportation conditions for important cities in Northeast China to travel back and forth to Dalian on the same day, thus promoting the rapid flow of people, logistics, and information in the three provinces of Northeast China and shortening the time and space distance between Northeast China and the vast areas within the country.

The machine tool industry is a fundamental equipment industry that provides working machines for various fields of the national economy. It is a strategic industry urgently needed for the development of the national economy and the modernization of national defense and military industry. The ownership and performance level of CNC machine tools are important indicators for measuring the comprehensive strength of a country or region. Dalian is the locomotive of economic development in northeast China, and the bridgehead for domestic and foreign enterprises to enter the northeast market. There are many foreign-funded enterprises in Dalian, and the demand for new technologies and new equipment is huge. With more and more local fixed assets investment and transformation projects, the demand for machine tools, tools and molds, especially medium and high-end machining equipment, will be growing.
