Discussing a new model of industrial cooperation between Shandong and Jilin provinces - Du Zhiguo and his delegation from the Jilin Shandong Chamber of Commerce visited the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association

On August 21st, Du Zhiguo and his delegation from the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Jilin Province visited the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. The two sides had in-depth discussions on strengthening industrial cooperation between the two provinces and promoting cross regional coordinated development.

Secretary General Su Hongxing introduced to Du Zhiguo and his delegation the development situation and advantages of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong Province, as well as the development history of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. He explained the association's focus on "four services" and the experience and practices of integrating party building and construction, and elaborated on the role and significance of the selection of the "Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award" in leading industry scientific and technological innovation and guiding the healthy growth of enterprises. Su Hongxing pointed out that Jilin Province has formed a characteristic equipment manufacturing industry with the automobile industry as its core, relying on leading enterprises such as China FAW. It has formed a huge complementary advantage with Shandong's strong industrial foundation and perfect industrial chain. He hopes that the two sessions will fully play the role of a bridge and link, strengthen cooperation, and jointly explore new models of industrial coordinated development.

Du Zhiguo introduced the development of Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Jilin Province. Currently, there are more than 500 member units, covering more than 10 industries such as real estate, medicine, agriculture, education, tourism, and the Internet. They have gathered the strength of enterprises in Jilin and Shandong to promote industrial economic cooperation and development between Shandong and Jilin. This visit further strengthens information sharing and resource docking, which will promote equipment manufacturing enterprises in both regions to achieve more results in technological innovation, market expansion, and inject new impetus into the economic and social development of both regions.
