On August 19th, Zhang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Mengyin County Committee, and his delegation visited the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and held discussions and exchanges with Secretary General Su Hongxing and Deputy Secretary General Wang Qun on how to leverage the association's resource advantages to empower the high-quality development of regional equipment manufacturing industry.
Su Hongxing first introduced the basic situation of the association and the work carried out in the service industry and service enterprises. He pointed out that as an industry oriented social organization, the association has always adhered to the purpose of "leading the scientific development of the industry and guiding the healthy growth of enterprises". He summarized the work of the association in technology promotion, industry research, market expansion, talent cultivation, standard setting, and other aspects, as well as the experience and practices of promoting the coordinated development of industries and enterprises in the province through organizing various industry docking activities.
Zhang Yong expressed appreciation for the work of the association and introduced the development of equipment manufacturing industry and key enterprises in Mengyin County. Zhang Yong pointed out that as an important production area for high-end engineering equipment in Linyi City, Mengyin County has cultivated advantageous industries, nurtured leading enterprises, focused on strengthening and extending the supply chain, and innovatively driven the coordinated development of the iconic equipment manufacturing industry chain. In addition to domestic sales, many backbone enterprises have also seized the discourse power in the international market. Among them, Shandong Luoxiang Automobile has developed into one of the largest private semi-trailer enterprises in China; Lingong Heavy Duty Truck mainly produces engineering machinery parts such as loaders and excavators, with an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan. These leading enterprises have provided strong support for the high-quality development of the local economy. We will continue to increase policy support, provide financial support and policy guarantees for enterprises, and help Mengyin County's equipment manufacturing industry achieve breakthrough development.
