Visit Weifang Mechanical and Electrical Industry Office to jointly promote the establishment of an association

2018On the morning of June 7th, Xu Shiping, Vice President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, led relevant personnel from the Secretariat to visit the Weifang Machinery and Electronics Industry Office, and had sufficient exchanges and discussions with Director Xu Huating and Director Feng Yuanzheng on promoting the establishment of the Weifang Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. 

Vice President Xu Shiping first introduced the establishment and development history of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association to the Weifang Mechanical and Electrical Industry Office, as well as its functions and roles in leading and guiding the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in the province. He also informed the leaders of the office about a series of important activities organized by the provincial association. Xu Shiping elaborated on the importance of accelerating the establishment of Weifang Industry Association based on the actual development of industries in the province and the need to promote the transformation of old and new driving forces. He said that in order to achieve full coverage of the equipment manufacturing industry associations in the 17 cities of Shandong, and to achieve linkage between provincial and municipal equipment manufacturing industry associations throughout the province, measures such as "policy propaganda entering every household, technological innovation entering every household, kinetic energy conversion entering every household, transformation and upgrading entering every household, and sharing economy entering every household" will be taken to jointly promote the supply side structural reform of industries and the transformation of old and new kinetic energy in the province. Liaocheng, Weihai, Dezhou, Binzhou, Linyi and other cities have entered the preparatory work of municipal equipment manufacturing industry associations, and Weihai City will soon hold the association's founding conference. Xu Shiping expressed his gratitude to the Weifang Mechanical and Electrical Industry Office for its support in promoting the construction of the association. He suggested that the preparatory work of the Weifang Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association should enter the working procedure as soon as possible.

Director Xu Huating warmly welcomed Vice President Xu Shiping and his delegation, and highly praised the "China Western Expo Exhibition Team" and series of activities organized by the Provincial Association on behalf of the Provincial Economic and Information Commission. He said that the important role of industry associations is highlighted in the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry and the transformation of old and new kinetic energy projects. Weifang City will immediately enter the work process, and the Municipal Office will provide solutions and give the green light for the establishment of the association, and increase efforts to promote the establishment of the "Weifang Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association". He also introduced in detail to Xu Shiping and his delegation the preliminary selected initiator of the industry association - Shandong Haoxin Group.

Through communication, both parties have benefited greatly. Director Xu Huating and Xu Shiping have jointly agreed to have regular exchanges in the future, focusing on and supporting the high-quality and rapid development of Weifang's equipment manufacturing industry from the perspectives of the government and industry associations!
