开放合作，是世界发展大趋势；互利共赢，是我们共同愿望。习近平主席提出的The "the Belt and Road" initiative is a major strategic vision that conforms to the trend of regional and global cooperation and the development needs of countries and regions along the Belt and Road to build a community of interests, a community of shared future and a community of responsibility. The WCIF is an important platform set up by the Chinese government in the western region for countries and regions to participate in the "the Belt and Road" initiative. With the strong support and active participation of all parties, the WCIF has become an important window for western China's opening up and an important stage for international trade cooperation, and has played a positive role in promoting the economic development of the western region, China and the world.
